Hello,

I am trying to set up Amazon Alexa on my Sonos Era 100, but I am encountering an issue during the configuration process. When I try to link Alexa to my Sonos speaker, instead of being redirected to the Amazon login page as expected, I only see an informational message. I am unable to complete the login process and link my Amazon account to Sonos.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble adding Alexa to your Sonos systems.

There is an issue where certain devices have trouble adding Alexa, but we don’t have a complete list of impacted devices at this time. Currently, the workarounds are to: 

  • Try with a different controller (such as another phone, or a tablet).
  • Uninstall the Amazon Shopping app for the duration of the Alexa installation.
