Replacing my old Connect for a Port using S2 App, will my system work?

Hi,

I'll replace my old Sonos Connect (Gen 1) for a Port, will my Sonos Play 3 and Play 1 system speakers work?

I’m migrating from S1 to S2 and I wanted just to make sure it’ll work or should I get a second hand Connect (Gen 2) ?

Thanks for your help to figure this out!

Yes, the Play:3 and Play:1 are both compatible with the S2 app. Read more here:

What are you feeding with the Connect/Port? If it’s an external DAC you may be better off with a second-hand Connect/Gen2. On the other hand if you’re using the analog outputs go for a Port.
