Question

Ethernet Setup

I have sonosnet disabled and have the supplied fios CR1000B, extender and moca adapter all connected as my home networking setup.

The Sonos one sl is now connected to the moca adapter upstairs and will no longer show up on the network or in the Sonos app. On WiFi it comes back no problem.

Any ideas or troubleshooting tips are welcomed. Thanks

My guess, without looking it up, is your extender is creating a separate subnet. Sonos requires all devices to be on the same subnet, so you should look at the manual for your CR1000B and see how to set up any ‘extensions’ as the same subnet.

Alternately, you could call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
