I have a Xgimi Horizon 20pro projector, Sonos playbar, Ugreen wireless extender transmitter & receiver (CM506), Ugreen audio splitter HDMI to optical spdif convertor (CM677). As I don't want to run a long optical cable across the 5 meter floor, how do I set this up to wirelessly connect horizon 20pro to Sonos playbar? My projector doesn't seems to detect any device from HDMI ARC. Able to advise?

This arrangement is sending video to the projector for display. No audio can be returned from the projector. Audio from Ubox is sent to PLAYBAR via TOSLINK. TOSLINK and PLAYBAR cannot deal with advanced audio formats, such as DOLBY ATMOS. The Ubox must be set to prevent delivery of these audio formats.

Connect the Android box and PLAYBAR to the CM677. The CM677 is then connected to the

CM306 transmitter.

Unable to connect the the playbar to CM506 as it doesn't have a TOSLINK..

Try Android TV Box —> CM677—> CM506 ^^^ CM506 —> Projector.

CM677 TOSLINK —> PLAYBAR..

Note that the CM506 cannot transmit 4K video.

I got the Android tv box to display on the projector, however the playbar is unable to capture the sound from the projector.

Are there any error messages? What audio format are you sending from the Ubox?

I have no experience with this gadget and I’m suspicious about its quality. You could turn the system around, connecting the Ubox directly to the projector and use this box to send audio to TOSLINK.
