Hi, I would like to add a NAS to my switch so that I can transfer my music library to the NAS and access it from multiple devices. The library is currently in iTunes and I want to make sure that the NAS/Mac/Sonos combination all works.

Since you have a mac, go with Apple's Time Machine. Works great as a backup device for your mac and you can use it as a NAS. I just setup mine to to work with Sonos and was surprised how well it worked. There are instructions in the support area on how to setup a NAS, with specific Time Machine items.
