just Bought a new Sony Bravia KD-55XG8796 with a RMF-TX550E remote I have it connected to my SONOS Playbase but cant pair the remote with it - I can control the volume with the iphone app but thats a pain, has any one any ideas??

have you tried the Remote Control Setup link in the app? If needed, does the IR switch need to be on?
Presumably you had things working with your older setup?
