s1 v s2 v current pos app

I have 6 connects here and 2 amps. I factory reset all of them. I Downloaded the s1 app and when it tries to set them up it says some of them run s2 sw and then wants to uograde me back to the pos app that doesn’t work. 
 

does anyone have a solution. This is a unfunny joke thats been played on me by sonos for 5 yrs now.

You need to use the new app to downgrade to S2
