Hello Sonos community. For some time I have been sending my audio up to my Samsung tv from my Oppo player that I use. Bdp103. As we all know Sonos products don't support DSD from our 1 bit DSD sacds. So much for DSF files on our stick drives from previous files that we as music lovers have purchased. Well as our Prestine SACD players that are converted to pcm to be decoded from the same layer on our players that are 5.1 or 3.1 from 2ch sacds and we send them up the ladder to our tvs that our player is sending out the tv is the culprit giving is basic stereo that our players work so hard for us to hopefully enjoy 5.1 ,wwe all see stereo pcm This doesn't have to be no more. Why? By getting a audio extractor. Orie is the one I have HDA 934. Player is in the source input 3 Output for eArc goes directly to the soundbar arc/ Arcultra. In the EDID management where it says Auto you select that mode and leave it for sacds .leave tv on which only gets the video not the lovely Audio that our tv bottlenecks the file . Note ( on Oppo select LPCM .leave secondary audio off . Select pcm where it says SACD in menu )  This way you will get as I see on my badge pcm Multichannel 5.1 or 3.1 like I said earlier. This bypasses the copyright restrictions don't press 5.1 on EDID you will get back with silence leave on AUTO for this extractor that I have and enjoy the true raw pcm Multichannel that is coming from that DSD layer our players are doing. Happy listening to all .

Hi @blond4, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Thanks for sharing your setup and how you were able to get your setup working again for SACDS using an Orie HDA 934. There have been other audio extractors suggested on the community before and I think this one has been brought up before. I hope this helps anyone with a similar setup who is running into a similar problem.

Yes I finally saw your message thanks for responding.that worked for me with this extractor. The handshake starts with your single rate DSD when you leave it in AUTO and that badge is showing on my Sonos app phone.  The Orie extractor cost on Amazon 139.00 Canadian . It supports also 4K at 60 Hz not 120 for true gamers .but I bought it for the sacds issue when before the audio/video  was going up the ladder to the tv .So now the Oppo can show it's passport at the EDID management where the sound goes only there and passes out to the Arc/Arcultra only.
