I was excited for the new app. However it is SO dreadful that I’ve almost stopped using my Sonos system. My gripe is simple - so many of the features from the old (S2) app have simply disappeared (or ceased to function. Two examples (of many) is the inability to now add songs to a queue; also the fact that paired speakers (stereo pairs) can no longer be balanced (can’t make one louder than the other).
I was seriously considering buying one of the portable speakers for the summer - but this experience has put me right off such an expensive acquisition. 😔
