My music library resides on my DROBO 5N, and it was working very well with my SONOS S1 system. The DROBO was taken offline for a while, and now I cannot get SONOS to recognize the path - I am sure it is the path that I used before. I checked the path from the Windows 10 network folder. The syntax is perfect. Not sure what I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.
I suspect this is an SMB issue. What are the SMB settings on your DROBO? I’d be willing to bet that there was an update that got applied when you reset up the DROBO that turned off SMB 1.
DROBO has wound up, and there is no support. I gleaned from forums however that DROBO is locked into SMBv1, so I tried enabling SMBv1 on Windows. No luck. No luck either tryinbg to connect through macs on my network. The funny thing is that SONOS wo’t even allow a connection on a local drive, so I am going to try SONOS support.
