So - With the new Sonos App Release in Spring 2024 there has been a number of challenges.   The most recent one for those of us that have used Sonos as a source for a Crestron controlled Home automation.

Discontinuation Notice: Sonos®️ App Support on Crestron Touch Panels- Update January 9th, 2025 - Crestron has discontinued the use of the Sono’s app in it’s panels - (This is due to the updated Sonos App and no warning to its partner Crestron that it would not work back in spring 2024) https://community.crestron.com/s/article/2986

So… having said that - Lots of expensive home systems (Thousands… 20K,30K+ systems) do not have a functional source solution -  Thanks Sonos!   My customers love me now!

Any installers or users that have found a work around or another solutions?

I will not be recommending Sonos to customers now - how they handled the release of the app and its partners.

From the disclaimer you posted….

NOTE: This discontinuation only affects the full Sonos app running natively on Crestron touch panels. It does not impact standard Sonos integration with Crestron systems. Existing Sonos systems controlled through Crestron Home (CH) or custom SIMPL programming will continue to function as expected.

While I understand that running the app natively may be more appealing to crestron customer, and perhaps to the crestron developers, this seems like a solution that was going to fail sooner or later.  Unless Sonos had some sort of agreement with Crestron to support Crestron touch, which isn’t listed in the supportted OSs for Sonos, hard to put the blame on them in this case.

Do the touch panels support the web app?
