I have a Sonos Arc, Sub, and 2 Play 1’s. Can I listen to Music differently and with only the 2 Play’s + Sub (2.1) instead of with all speakers including Arc 5.1?

Not by just flipping a switch, if that’s what you’re after. You can remove the sub and play:1s from the Arc, creating addional rooms, then bond them into a 2nd room. That does take few minutes though and any trueplay tuning will be lost.

Thanks for the reply. Can you create the additional room 1st, avoiding the removal and re-doing trueplay?
I don’t think that is possible as the room will disappear when you remove the speakers from it.

There is no way to get around the requirement to reconfigure and Trueplay the room each time you wish to switch from surrounds to stereo.
