Cannot disconnect Sonos acct from Plex account
Ever since connecting my plex server to my brother's Sonos account as a music source (May 2021) I always have the option of casting to my brother's speakers from my plex mobile apps and from the web interface at app.plex.tv I have tried removing all Sonos references from Authorized Devices in plex settings. My brother has removed my plex server music from his Sonos app. He's even gone so far as changing his Sonos password. Regardless, I am still able to cast music to his speakers. I have my own Sonos account and can play my plex server music on my Sonos products via the Sonos app. However, from my plex apps the only Sonos casting options I can see are my brother's speakers. I can have my plex server authorized as a data source on multiple Sonos accounts; both accounts can play plex content on their individual systems. However, in my case it seems Plex apps themselves can only cast to the system of a single Sonos account. I don't know from where this limitation originates. It's as if my
Sonos Controller can't navigate Plex library by folder
The Sonos controller can “see” the shared content on my WD PR4100 via the Plex service but, unlike the Plex or Plexamp players, doesn’t provide an option to search by folder, it only allows by album, by artist, playlist, recently added, etc. There is an “Other Sources” selection at the bottom of the menu that opens up to show “Music/MyCloud PR4100, which seems like it would show the shared folders, but it’s greyed out and not activated:Is there anything I can do to activate this? Forwarding to the local port Plex uses on the private network doesn’t do it.
I got a new router/modem & having problems getting new network on my Sonos play 1. What app controls play 1? I have newer Sonos products in my permanent home, but want ti continue to use Sonos play 1 in my vacation home.it worked fine until I changed router. Now play 1 not showing up as a device…
Connection with DS214play
Hi, I’m living partly in Switzerland and Thailand. At both locations I’m using Sonos. In Switzerland stands my DS214play with my music collection on.I would like to connect my DSplay214 with the Sonos system in Thailand. I tried several version of possible paths when adding a new music library but it never worked. The music is under the path “DSplay214/music/Charlie’s Musik”How do I have to write this link correctly to get a connection?Thanks for your help.Charlieguzzi (email@example.com)
Milano Lounge station on Tunein & Sonos Radio
I’m an AV integrator and my clients love “Milano Lounge” on Tunein and saved it as a favorite. Now this station doesn’t appear on Tune-in or Sonos Radio and I have to add the URL to their radio stations. I have to tell all my client how to do so or do it for them. Why? This doesn’t happen on other devices with native Tune-in apps like Control4, HEOS, Marantz, my mobile app. Why is this happening only on SONOS?

For some reason just recently using the Amazon music service within the Sonos app my Amazon Music Albums and Playlists recommended for me are all indian music, which I have never listened to before ever. any ideas what’s happened please.
Setup: 4 old Play3s running S2 software. Added Spotify premium account to Sonos. Choosing Spotify as source for room 1: works.pause stream, choose Spotify as source for room 2: Spotify blocks connection. Now, connection is not possible for both rooms anymore. I have to select another source for room 1, reauth, and maybe then it works again.similar when starting Spotify from app controller on phone 1, then do changes from controller on phone 2: Spotify is blocked.i thought there is just one connection from Sonos to Spotify and no matter which controller is used, it’s referring to this one connection. But obviously sonos can’t handle this… now how does this work? How many connections are made from Sonos to Spotify when using multiple rooms (not simultaneously!, just one active stream at a time) or using multiple controllers? In S1 I did not encounter such issues. Thanks for any hints!
Help Apple Music (no cell ph)
Hi everyone. Everything worked great. I moved and had SONOS Gen 2 etc in storage. At new place - 6 months later - I had ‘reset’ and move to S2 - rebuilding SONOS and services etc. That was no joy. I’m up and running except I can’t add my Apple Music service (in my name). It says must use Android or Apple phone. However, SONOs no longer likes my cell for some features and says upgrade the o/s (there isn’t one) when I try to add the service. I don’t have an Apple phone. When I added S2 to her’s it will only accept Apple Music in her name (she doesn’t have an account). So, I’m stuck. Either upgrade my phone/switch to Apple OR use a workaround to get the apple service added. (p.s.: not inclined to play music on the cell and pipe it in through aux.)So, doesn’t anyone have a work around to re-add Apple Music as a service? On the windows PC it of course says use your phone. Mixcloud - Unable to browse music.
Hi.Anybody else getting ‘unable to browse music’ when trying to access their Feed in Mixcloud? I’ve tried changing the password and re-authorising the service through the app but the issue is still there.Listen Later, New Uploads, and Your Mixcloud Queue also display the same message. Trending, and Music work fine so the account access must be fine.Any suggestions welcome.Thanks,Chris
