Since last app (Android) update April 12, just discovered my Music Library has not been updated since April 12. Manually scanned and still nothing since the update. Figured I would reinstall the app, now nothing on the music library Folder name shows up but nothing in the folder. All music is visible in Windows Media selection but that is still unusable due to the order of titles. Any ideas?
I see posts here on the forums for some years complaining about this issue. Can Sonos simply add support for it so we can move on?(IOW: If hi res files are out there, just Let Us Listen!) I have an album I really like, and I have to break out a bluetooth speaker to listen to it.Seems crazy.
Basically the title says it all. I renewed my subscription and it shows I am subscribed in my account, but I still am hearing the Sonos ads and can't skip songs. I’ve refreshed the app several times, logged out and in, nothing seems to work. Don’t like paying for a service that’s not working.
Hi all, Recently bought the arc and 2 Ones as surrounds. I decided to use amazon music instead of Spotify because quality is superior. Every time I try to play music through the Amazon Music app, it immediately disconnects from my sonos. I can use amazon music through Sonos app no problem and can use amazon music through voice assist. Any idea how to resolve this problem. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I recently got new wifi router = new wifi. Now my Sonos app work slowly, also my Sonos products (Arc, Roam and 3x One SL) are not working correctly. Firstly, only Arc could work - I always airplay music to Arc and then via Sonos app I stream via 'everywhere' button to all other. Now in app it can be shown it is playing music everywhere, but in real it works only in Arc and in One SL. But it doesn't play music from all ONE's and Roam at the same time! Always 1 or 2 ONE are problem and sometimes Roam. Roam works only when played alone. But also if I stream via Airplay music to my Roam and spread it to other Sonos in my system via 'everywhere' it just doesn't work. If I connect more than 1 Sonos One I had the wifi extender report. Anyway I also tried unplug all of them and replug, I tried to disconnect and reconnect… I just did anything and still it doesn't work. I am desperate because I am addicted to my Sonos system. Please help me. EDIT.: I disconnected all of my products, disconne
Hi, since i updated yesterday 26|4|2022 my SONOS, the italian radio called Radio DeeJay (Milano/Lombardia/Italia) is not working anymore. SONOS gets it from TuneIn, I tried on the TuneIn website and also there Radio DeeJay doesn't work...whilst both on Sonos and on TuneIn the other radios from the same city are working well… anyone can help? Thanks
As of this week, I have not been able to access BBC radio stations on the Radioplayer service. When I look at the A-Z Station List, there are no BBC stations listed. They are listed on the Radioplayer website. Am I the only person with this problem? Is there any way to get the BBC stations back?I would switch to BBC Sounds, but it does not appear to be possible to add stations to “My Sonos” using the Android S1 phone app.
I have, somehow, created more music sources than I need. The image shows this. I only need the Music Library - that’s the one linked to my app. I need to get rid of BlustoNAS / Windows Media / Sonos Playlists. I can’t find a way to achieve this and would appreciate help please. Cheers all.
I recently purchased a Sonos Five speaker and have been streaming through VOX music player app on iPhone. I have all of my music uploaded in VOX. I get random static when when streaming through the VOX app but not so far when I stream through Apple Music or Amazon Music app. Does anyone else use VOX to stream to Sonos and have a similar issue? Someone in Sonos support told me that VOX isn’t supported on Sonos but VOX website says otherwise. Here’s the link...https://vox.rocks/sonos-support.Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
When I ask Alexa to play a radio station or an artist it recognises the request and replies, eg ‘playing xx from Global Player’ or ‘shuffling songs by...’ but then silence. I can play these fine through the speaker using the app. If I ask a straight forward question eg what’s the weather forecast Alexa replies correctly. Does anyone know what the issue is with the music and radios?
After the latest Sonos update, my gf unplugged the Sonos One during the update thinking it was something wrong when thr led started to blinking and now the speaker makes a strange electronic sound and hangs up (almost like a broken record), and doesnt play any further.I have tried to factory set the speaker without any luck. Have never experienced this before.Diagnostic: 35527183
I have a Sonos Play:1, a Sonos One, and a Roam. The first two have been on my Wi-Fi for years now. The Roam is new. Because of the Roam, I switched from the S1 to the S2 app on my iPhone. When I did that, I lost my whole system. I don’t mind so much because all of my playlists are via connected services. My problem is that now I can only get the Roam to connect to my Wi-Fi. I’ve gone through the various articles and asked the Sonos bot. I’ve successfully connected them to my router via ethernet, but cannot connect them to the Wi-Fi from there. I’ve reset both speakers to factory settings. I’ve rebooted my router (both in the order prescribed in various Sonos support articles). The Wi-Fi connection still fails. At one point, I got my Play:1 to connect to the Wi-Fi, but it would not appear on the system tab of the S2 software. That time, my router software showed all items connected, but the Sonos software said differently. My latest attempts have been all after I have a successful wired
Hi,I’ve got a Sonos One that I purchased 3-4 years ago (roughly). So I’ve owned it since new and never had issues updating when new updates were available. Running Windows 10 with the current Sonos software update. I have omitted the IP address, but it is there and correct. The progress bar for the for the software update completes… then displays the following message: The Sonos controller installer failed to download. I have turned off Windows Firewall and my anti-virus… still no resolve. As a side note, my Sonon One is working, but a little quirky at the moment. I primarily use it for listening to music. Sometimes it will play requested iHeartRadio stations, and sometimes it will just stay silent after a request. Same with Pandora stations. Any help would be appreciated. Hi all,On my Sonos App both on the Mac and the iPhone I had all of my Artists, Albums, Songs, etc. under Music Library. I ripped a couple of CDs and added those to my iTunes library and then ran the Update Music Library Now function. After I did that I now only have two artists under the Music Library, with the entire iTunes collection is now labeled as ‘Imported Playlists’. How do I get the Artists, Songs, Albums, etc. out of the Imported Playlists and under the Music Library like it was prior? My iTunes library is running on a Synology NAS. All has been working fine until yesterday.Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks,Ed
Until today when I used the Sonos app on iPhone or iPad if I went into BBC sounds and then Selected “My Sounds” I would get 3 options - Bookmarked, Subscribed or Latest. When I access via phone or tablet now when I click “My Sounds” I just get a list of icon images of some of the episodes of podcasts I have subscribed to. The desktop app on iMac is still working as expected. I have raised this with Auntie so hopefully it will get fixed
I have played Plex music from Sonos for years. Yesterday when I opened any of my Sonos apps when I select Plex I get the message Unable to browse music. I rebooted Plex, reestablished the music service in Sonos and the same. I know Sonos can reach the music in Plex because when I play Sonos Playlists that have Plex music it works. Any idea?
Hi,I'm trying to access music stored on a USB in my Nvidia Shield but keeps getting "No selections available" I'm trying to update Music index but nothing, I can access it through Plex but not sure what the quality is like with them being FLAC on the USB. Any 😣 would be appreciated
This just started happening to me, my Sonos won’t update my music library. If i delete my music folder and re-add it will be have everything in there that should be, but if i add more music (mp3s, which i do almost daily) and have it update, none of the additions show up. my music’s on a macbook running big sur 11.6
I am receiving the “Unable to Browse Music” Spotify error that has been written about and previously resolved. I have no issues with my other music services. Spotify results are returned when using the general Sonos app search feature (i.e. when I search for music using the magnifying glass) but when I attempt to use the Spotify app located within Sonos to search for music, I repeatedly receive “Unable to Browse Music” message (I can’t see any of my playlists etc.). This issue started occurring very recently and is the same whether I am accessing Sonos from my iphone or Mac. I have deleted and added the native Spotify app again (and again) on both my iphone and my computer - I also deleted/re-added Spotify within the “services” section of the Sonos app on both my phone and my computer. Spoke to Sonos tech support who was - per the usual - super helpful and patient but after a ~60 minute call, the issue persists. Suggestions?
I renamed the computer and Sonos would say it couldn’t find the old computer name. It wasn’t recognising or seeing the new name. I reinstalled etc. Then realised that there were a few issues. Firstly there were different queues for different speaker systems, these had been populated prior to the name change. I ungrouped the system and cleared each queue. Additionally, the queue that was in the main play area had been populated prior to the computer name change. I cleared all queues, updated the music library and voila!
A bit weird one, Samba 4.15.5-5.el8 came out last month for my NAS boxen hosting iTunes library for Sonos S1.Automated patching kicked in and now my Play 5 Gen 1 cannot connect to NAS anymore. Strangely Play 1 and Playbar continue to work just fine.Error I get is “Unable to play ‘X’ - access to //126.96.36.199/Share denied.” Reset/reboots of Play 5 have no affect. Downgrading server side to previous samba-4.15.3-0.el8.x86_64 version immediately fixes Play 5 problems. Same server side configuration used.Relevant smb.conf snippet:# sonos kludgery ntlm auth = ntlmv1-permitted server min protocol = NT1 Adding “client signing = disabled does not help”. Running samba in debuglevel=3 offers no clues that I could spot. Any thoughts?
