Yesterday my system was working but this morning Apple Music had disappeared as a music service in the system. Only Line-In and TuneIn are listed. If I go to settings → Services&Voice → Add Service, all I see in the list is Last.fm and TuneIn. What is going on? Internet is working fine.
I’ve had my system set up for over a year now. This past weekend, when a Spotify commercial comes on, the system goes silent. Both Spotify and Sonos look like the ad is playing but there is no sound and it doesn’t actually play down and start playing again (the ad or music). I have to pause Sonos then hit play again. Any idea what is causing this? It's annoying to have to stop and start whenever a commercial comes on.
After many hours of effort I have finally upgraded my old S1 to S2 with my Play 3's.I am using a new Samsung Galaxy S8+ tablet but there seems to be limited functionality on this device.I would like to add Samsung music which resides on this device.I would also like to add my CD collection which is on my laptop. It appears there is an issue at the moment with Sonos and adding libraries but I can't even see an option.I am a bit traumatised about being too ambitious at the moment in case I undo the many hours already spent. Is there greater functionality on a laptop than a tablet ?Any help is appreciatedFletch
When I open the app on my iPhone sometimes it only shows one of my roams saying the other is powered off. But it doesn’t show the other speakers, arc. woofer, 2 rear and 2 move. Sometimes they’re there, sometimes not. I spent over an hour on chatting the other day, so long that my phone needed charging. It was working but a few hours later it isn’t. The tech wastes your time plugging and unplugging and reregistering and other nonsense. But a day later the problem is back. The speakers come and go. I can play music on the Roku tv which uses the arc, sub and back speakers but on the phone they’re not there. It is getting to the point where I have to admit that I wasted almost 3 thousand dollars on a system that is unreliable and sonos can’t fix it. Unplugging some of the speakers, which the tech makes you do, are behind heavy couches. I’m and old man and its hard to move these big heavy couches and harder still to get the plugs back in. Used to love the system but now it sucks . Th
When I stream songs from Apple Music via the Sonos app, playback is occasionally interrupted with a message of 'Unable to play [insert song name] - the song is not encoded correctly'.It's unpredictable when it happens, sometimes it could be half way through a track and it occurs, also happens multiple tracks in a row. Other times it could go through multiple tracks with no issues then the error suddenly occurs.I've done all the troubleshooting stated on the Sonos website but I'm pretty sure my setup isn't the problem because I use a Radio App and also use YouTube Music via the Sonos app with no playback issues, the error just happens with Apple Music.Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Suggestions on a possible fix?
hieach and every time there’s a system (HW) update it takes forever to installI tracked the issue down to… some Sonos speakers registered in my account are in a different house (my country house) and the updater keeps searching for *all* of my speakersI believe this behaviour started with OS2 This can only be fixed by Sonos, right? :-/
For the love of God please can someone help. For so many months now I’m in despair with the 6 Sonos speakers I have in this house!Everytime I try and play an album from my Amazon prime account (which was always working perfectly for 3 years) now isn’t!! It either doesn’t play the artist at all or plays 1 track or so and then plays something completely random. What is that about?!! I’m seriously tearing my hair out!! Please help someone. Thank you
I have a 17 device setup and have extensive 300+ song playlists on YouTube Music. They're leftover from the days when Google Play Music worked flawlessly with direct casting to Sonos, pre lawsuit days.Until recently everything worked fine, but today I noticed that the playlists are limited to top 100 songs, the rest do not show up!I deleted the service, reauthorized it, only to run into the same issue.Any advice of how to fix this?
Since the 15.2 release there is quite a few songs that display this error when trying to play them. These seem to be mainly songs that are not lossless. They were purchased over time from Apple Music. They will still play if I use the Apple Music app, but they will no longer play from Sonos app. I suspect some lossy codex broke with latest release. Occurs with all my Sonos products. Is this a known issue?
In the last two weeks, my app freezes whenever I try to adjust any alarm.I can toggle an alarm off or on, but cannot adjust the alarm, delete and alarm or create a new alarm.Would prefer not to “reboot devices” as we have many installed in hard to reach locations.Happens on multiple iOS devices, so it’s not a phone storage issue.
Is anyone else having issues with Gapless playback after updating to 15.2? Scenario:I have been using a loopable track on Apple Music via the built in Sonos player to play sleep sounds every night for years. This created a seamless sound with Gapless playback. Problem:After the update to 15.2, there is a distinct gap between the end of the track and the beginning of the repeat making the feature unusable for sleep sounds. Fix NeededRestore previous function to allow Gapless playback on looped tracks.and/or Allow reverting to a previous firmware(Ideally allowing to revert by atleast two firmware revisions to allow people to experiment and see if a new update has fixed a previously experienced bug)

Hi I have several albums saved to ‘My Sonos’ which are from Amazon Music. When I play an album, it only plays one track and does not continue to play the rest of the album. This is basic functionality even cassette tapes could achieve in the 1980s.Please advise how to fix this issue. Note if I search for an album in Amazon Music and play directly (do not save to My Sonos) then it does queue the rest of the album automatically.I think a lot of customers have this issue, appreciate you fixing in the next app release.
