New router modem rebooted several times wired to Sonos amps via ethernet cable. Can't find wifi even though it's listed as connected 

I have a Sonos Amp powering 4 Sonance in wall hidden speakers as well a Sonos Mini Sub.  I can add the sub to my Sonos system, but when I add the sub to my Amp it will not play along. After about 30 seconds it will say Sub not connected. I then have to remove it from the system and reinstall it, before it can be used again. If I add it to my Arc ultra, the sub works just fine.  All components are updated to latest firmware. How can I add my sub to the Sonos Amp?

I am experiencing issues with Spotify Connect on my Sonos speakers, and I would like your assistance in resolving the problem. I have a Scott LK 72 Amplifier that I want to integrate into my SONOS System using a Port. I am using the Tape Out on the Amp as my Input to the Port and the Extra on the Amp as my Output from the Port. I am concerned about the Load Resistance and Capacitance on the Port and the compatibility with the jacks on the amp. The Scott Tape Output jacks are rated at 200 k ohms and Capacitance at 200 pF. I do believe that the Port Input jacks are rated at 10 k ohms and 100-200 pF. Would there be an issue with this setup seeing as how the impedance on the Port is not adjustable.

I am in need of help setting up an undercover patio speakers and tv. My home is being built right now and now is the time to run the wires. If I am understand correctly, I can order an AMP and Outdoor Speaker set. Wire the speakers to the AMP and store the AMP inside while the speakers are attached to the outside of my home. Then I want to connect a BEAM and hardwire it to the TV and also connect it wirelessly to the AMP. Will this work as I described and work seamlessly with the TV audio?Do I need to order specific outdoor speakers? I was sold a pair of 300 but I don’t believe these to be correct now. I am planning to use a Sylvox Outdoor TV. Will the BEAM be ok undercover outside? I have many Sonos speakers at a home site.  Around 50.  They are split between two systems.  THe internet at this place is using Omada TP Link.  They are constantly experiencing dropouts on the sonos speakers or music just stops altogether.  Sonosnet really isn’t an option as most speakers are in home theater setups, or they are the new era speakers.  I have assigned each speaker a static IP and on all the managed switches enabled STP not RSTP, and MGMp snooping.  Now, I know enough about this stuff to be dangerous, but so far my tricks havent helped much.  Any help?  Do i assing the speakers to a specific nearest AP next.  Very frustrating.

I recently purchased a Brennan B2 with the idea of using it as a whole house music system.  I have connected the Brennan to my receiver to use in one room through the connected speakers, but I was hoping to connect to my Era 100 speakers to use in the rest of my house. The Brennan and speakers are on the same Wi-Fi network but my Brennan doesn’t see the speakers at all. I’ve checked the Wi-Fi signal strength and by Brennan’s requirements, it is good. Is there something that I need to do to get it to find the speakers or is there something I can do to get the streaming function to work? I can stream internet radio on the Sonos so it’s working with my Wi-Fi but not with the Brennan. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. 

I’m posting this to illustrate the difference between what you pay your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to bring service into your home and how that translates into actual Wi-Fi speed/coverage. I have a Harmony Hub that talks to a Sonos Connect.The routine I set up works perfectly EXCEPT I cannot seem to get the Sonos device to affect “PLAY” through the Harmony activity (music source is Pandora). After Harmony gets all devices in the proper “state”, I can THEN go to the Sonos app and the Harmony routine has selected the proper Pandora channel. but will not start playing music. I can (in the Sonos app) click “PLAY” and then all is well, but I cannot seem to get the Harmony activity routines to include “PLAY” even though that command is one of the options on the Sonos device.I’ve also tried sprinkling in PAUSE DELAYs as well, no joy.FWIW I had this working but this stopped working after a recent electrical storm (all devices still work fine, just the “PLAY” operation will not work through the Harmony activity).

Hi everyone, I have three separate Sonos setups—one at home, one at work, and one I installed for my parents.I registereed each system under a different email account.Whenever I switch locations, I have to log in and out of each account.Has anyone consolidated multiple Sonos systems under a single email account? Does it work smoothly, or does it create registration issues?If I moved to them all on one email account, would this mean I won’t get prompted to log in each time?Or does it start confusing the systems?I’d love to hear how others manage multiple setups efficiently. Thanks in advance!

We purchased a home that has 4 in-wall architectural speakers in the living room and 2 outdoor speakers (old Yamaha speakers). Is it possible to run all 6 speakers off the one Amp? And if so, is it possible to have different “zones” (e.g., listen only to the 4 in-wall speakers when watching TV, or listen only to the 2 outdoor speakers when outside)? Or do I need two amps (1 for the 4 in-wall speakers and 1 for the 2 outdoor speakers)?Thank you for your help!

My sonos amp is currently connected to my router. We are moving home and our router will not be next to my sonos amp or my two play 3rs.Is it possible for my whole network to be Wi-Fi in my new house? 

Is it already on the list of future enhancements to allow the «volume limit» setting to be changed through the api? This is something I would really like to see….. 😀

I’m asking for help with a karaoke setup connected with HDMI to my TV that has a playbar, sub and two play 300’s.  Will it output though the Sonos system or just the lyrics on screen?  I do not use an amp.

Spent hours with level 2 engineer who had escalated to level 3 engineers. They went through my router settings and changed everything but still could only connect 1 speaker to the system and then any other speaker would error out on setup and say no sonos devices found on mobile device network. The next morning I figured what the heck I will stop using the Nord Secure DNS servers. After making this change was able to setup all devices as normal.

Posting this in the hope it helps others.I recently an Asus XT9 Mesh to replace my Sky Router (FTTP) which frankly was the worst piece of kit I have ever had the misfortune to own! The connection to the ONT worked first time, once I had set the  protocol to Option 61. Then I experienced issues setting up Sonos on WiFi - missing product, random disconnects, App not connecting etc. My Blink Security system also experienced similar problems.After much help here and on other platforms the system is rock steady. No disconnects or other issues on either hardware.
