I have a pc app which doesn't want to play ball. All my other installations including a desktop with Windows 10 work fine. This one doesn't see the system after it has completed adding one player. although when I look at the 'my Sonos systen' there is a player noted. Using a Bridge.
I have a unique setting of sonos due to location of house I have my wifi set and supplied by my ipad's network chip. Hughes have had to take my playbar, subwoofer and 2 play ones back to shop to upgrade following recent software update. I now have no sound from my panasonic vierra and checked the menu options to see where it could be reset and actually reset it but still no sound. Any ideas?
I did not have a spotify account, but my friend logged in to hers on our system to show me a playlist of hers, intending it to be temporary. However nowhere on the iPad app or the windows desktop controller gives you an option to log out. She's having problems now because she's hit her limit for devices and now I am trying to connect my new account. Help?
I installed my Sonos system in 2005. Always been great. the system is: 4 zp100s 1 zp80--wired to the router 1 Connect Today, I installed a Harmony Hub and want to take full advantage of it with my Sonos. The Listen to Sonos activity I have been us9ng on a Harmony One turns on the amplifier for the zp80, but then I have to select that room with a controller (i devices here) and decide what to play, etc. From the Harmony documentation it appears that I should be able to more fully control the Sonos if I have a more recent player. What player do I need? I would prefer to simply swap out the zp80 for the new player. Christmas is fast approaching and I need to tell my wife what I want real soon. Anyone? Thanks. Hallo, Ik heb advies gevraagd bij een van de verkooppunten en bij support van Sonos zelf en ik heb het nog steeds niet duidelijk(door de bomen het bos niet meer zien). Wellicht lukt het op deze manier. Ik heb een harman Kardon bds 300 en een TV(Samsung UE55H6640SL). Mijn uitgangspunt is dat ik de BDS 300 onvoldoende kamer vullend(met TV kijken +radio luisteren) vindt voor mijn huidige woonkamer en wil de BDS 300 daarom uitbreiden. Nu had ik het idee om een Connect en twee speakers van Sonos te gebruiken. Deze speakers zouden dan naast de bank komen te staan en dat daarmee het surround effect weer aanwezig is. Voor zover ik het nu begrijp gaat mijn idee niet werken want als ik dan TV zou kijken zouden de speakers van sonos het niet doen omdat er geen playbar aanwezig is. De BDS 300 heb ik met een HDMI en een optische kabel aangesloten op de tv. Ik heb een tweede optical in, en Coaxal in nog vrij bij de BDS. Nu is mijn vraag: Kan ik mijn BDS 300 uitbreiden of niet? Just move and trying to install my Sonos system. Downloaded the new Setup, I don't see a way to connect to the BR100 Bridge. If I select standard setup, there is no device as the Bridge and if I choose Boost, it is asking me to press a button that is not there on the Bridge. How so you set up a wired Bridge ?
Hello people! I am having issues with my Sonos:AMP when running on wireless. When we are only a few people at home its not too bad, but sometimes i get disconnected from the AMP, and the music stops playing. Then i have to wait 30ish seconds before i can reconnect. What's funny is that when my kids visit, and alot of mobile devices connect to the router "Xclaim X-2" the problem becomes much more frequent. I think that, and so does my son, the wireless channels are overlapping. But i have tried chaning the channels on my router (Xclaim): [img]28551ca7-1ef3-4164-8b59-298c18897a57.png[/img] So its using channel 3 and my sonos is set to use channel 11. I would like to be able to operate the two Play3s that are part of my surround system WITHOUT the playbar when listening to music (not watching TV). Is there an easy way to set up this option? Can I just setup another “room” (Living Room 2) and pair the Play3s in that ‘room’ and just switch to Living Ro om 2 when listening to music?
Hi there...I've been using for a while the Spotify app to stream music to my sonos speakers and is all working excellent but when you have grouped speaker and you want to turn up or down the volume from the Spotify app seems to work only with one of the grouped speakers so you have to still go to the sonos app to fix it. Anyone else with this issue?.
After connecting my two new Play3s to the Playbar as surround speakers, the Play3 speaker volume was very low, even after maxing out the TV Volume slide bar under the Surround option button. The only way I found to increase the volume was by using the volume buttons on the speakers themselves. I have not seen that method mentioned anywhere in any other discussion related to surround speaker volume. Is that an acceptable/expected method to fix my low volume issue?
I have an existing sonos system comprising of a sound bar and 2 Play 1 speakers which are in the lounge asa surround system now I have purchased a Play 3 which I want in my dining room can I add this to the existing if yes how do I do this as I have just set it up in the dining room and no sound is coming out of it please help
I am hoping to get a Sonos for Christmas. After searching through these boards I am a bit concerned as to weather a person like me who is not particularily well versed in technology and therefore how to operate technology should get a Sonos. If something should go wrong I wouldn't have the elite at idea on how to fix the issue. I just recently learnt what a NAS was. Anyways should I have a problem what would be my options for fixing it?
Sonos happily working yesterday today... is not connecting and message 'Computer "......" cannot be found. I have removed SONOS app and reinstalled, rebooted system, firewall enables Sonos however still cannot find my mac and therefore cannot load music (from iTunes). I have sent a message to SONOS with dig # but not received any response as yet. Any ideas??? thanks
When I try to connect to my Sonos it says, "you're on one network and the Sonos is on another, please switch to the network your Sonos is on" the network I'm on is the same exact one my speaker is connected to. I have checked and triple checked it is the same network.
