I get my songs for Sonos from my iTunes library, and Sonos pulls them from my PC. When I call up my iTunes list on Sonos, it lists them my artist. But some artists don't appear on the lists. Yet, when I "shuffle" songs, songs from some of those "missing" artists appear and play. So they are there; they just don't show up on the main list. Why is that? Can anyone help so I can see all of them?
OK I have been onto your support team and they have agreed that when you search Spotify for your favorite music/artist the "browse artist" button has disappeared since the last Sonos update. This was 3 dots above the radio link, this was an excellent feature that brought up all the albums etc from this particular artist. Please Sonos put it back in!
Sometimes when I mute the volume on my Playbase using my Sky remote when I unmute it the sound doesn't come back and requires me to toggle the volume control on the remote to bring the sound back. It's not consistent - happens around 40% of the time - any ideas how I can fix it? TV is a Sony Bravia
Hello, I'm not sure what's going on, but I can hear iPhone notification sounds playing from my Playbar when my iPhone is on silent (side switch). I don't understand why this is happening. Both iPhone and Sonos are connected to the same network but I don't understand why notifications would play through. This makes no sense to me.
Hello guys, I have an question: i have some troubles with installing my sonos play 1 players. I have connected them in both sides of the corner of my house. The wall sockets are connected on the same power cable... when i put one play 1 at the power cable, he is working fine. Then i put the second one in the next wall socket and the first one goed directly off. Then the first one is flashing red/white. When i put the sonos box in an other wall socket he is working fine, also together. When i turn on 1 play one he is working fine... so when they both are connected i have the problems. I have tested the wall socket with one play 1 and also a light, then both are working... i hope you guys will understand my question. but i dont get it work.. i think it's something with my powercable / wall socket and the 2 sonos one boxes when they are both connected. Recently my play 3's have been cutting out during music and while watching tv. They are in surround mode with a playbar as well. I submitted a diagnostic 7782081. I was on hold to try to get some help over the phone, but I gave up after a lengthy time on hold. Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated. Thank you
Just setting up my Sonos and am trying to connect to my music library on our home PC. The Windows Media Library shows up in Sonos, but when I try to connect to anything, I get an "Unable to Browse Music" notice. I've checked firewall settings and everything appears ok - is there by any chance a size limit to the music library that can be indexed? Mine is pretty big - any help is appreciated!
Hi, I've got an existing system of 6 x PLAY:1 units which works perfectly. Today I bought a CONNECT but i'm struggling getting it to work. It's permenantly stuck on a flashing white light, and the controller software doesn't pick it up at all. I tried factory reset but I just end up again with the flashing white light. Any idea what to try next? Thanks
Hopefully I get some help second time around :D Spotify fails to play first song I start (just goes to 10 secs, then disconnects), also all other songs I play always pauses for approx. 1-2 seconds ca. 5 seconds into the song. Only happens with Spotify and only in Sonos (not if I use the spotify app directly). As you can understand this is a tad frustrating. Thanks for helping! Diagnostics: 7853178
My dears, I kindly ask you to help me. I have 5 zones, each zone consists of 2 Play:3. The problem is that when I add "Bedroom" to the zone "Living room", only "Living room" zone works (only 2 Play:3). Or vice versa, if I add "Living room" to the "Bedroom", only "Bedroom" works. Interestingly, each zone works separately. They connected wirelessly via wifi. Also, there are 2 Sonos Connect which are connected by ethernet. They work normally. What could be the reasons of such behavior of Sonos Play:3?
Hi, my gen 5 won't connect to wifi. It won't accept my wifi password although I haven't changed it. I unplugged it to move it to a new location and it hasn't worked since with wifi. It works ok when plugged in to the router with an Ethernet cable. Spent 2 hours on Sunday getting frustrated with why it would not work. Diagnostic number 7856458. Thanks
Okay so we have a problem which is that when i try to update in my phone it says that a problem has occured error 11 and the names of the rooms where we have the play 5 players. I tried to restart the whole thing but it wont work still and the wifi is okay it's working. Does someone know what error 11 is? Because i couldn't find anything about it in the support pages or anywhere. And the other thing is when I try to setup a new system my phone can't see the players or the controllers but the light is green. Any idea?
I recently got a new router. I was successful connecting all the players by using ethernet cable and updating them as instructed in the video. (ridiculous solution by the way) But I can't do that with my playbar which is mounted to the wall with internal wiring. Any suggestions?? Can I reset it to factory settings by chance??
Hello, I'm working with an office that generally plays Spotify through the Sonos App. However, in the last few days they have started getting errors once it starts to play. They will get a few seconds of the song, and then either an error saying that was unable to connect to spotify, or that the song was not encoded correctly. Sonos is showing as fully updated, checked network speeds and didn't notice any real latency, ect. Running a diagnostic, I got the confirmation number 7857435. Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
The issues so far, I've had the Sonos Play 5 for only 2 days. On the first day there were no issues, everything working fine, Half way through day two, Sonos could not connect to spotify.... I uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos App on the phone, then uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify - No solution. I reauthorised the spotify account on sonos account - No solution. I turned off the Sonos speaker for 10 minutes and turned it back on - managed to play 2 songs of a playlist but then stopped working again (Nothing on the phone had been touched to cause it to stop) Searched the community boards for other suggestions, but haven't found anything that works yet. I note a number of users have been provided with patches, but since this is a new unit and I have only just installed the software on my phone, I expect that this is not the problem.
Please help befor the new play5 takes flying lessons, my services is not showing Spotify, however Spotify is showing sonos but will not allow me to select it to play from my sonos speaker. I've reinstalled both apps and even downloaded apps to a desktop but nothing works, I'm using an iPad,iPhone and MacBook Pro all updated but still no Spotify I've tried ustomer services who gave me various changes to my router and I've confirmed my sonos any advice would be great???????? I'm in Thailand and Spotify do operate here
I have also droped sound intermittently... tech cant fix it ...I've been on the phone .. hours with them...I suggest a CLASS ACTION SUIT at this point...let me know if you are interested!!! I have two play threes... two play fives and a sound bar with boist...that's a lot of money for system that sucks!!!!
Unable to connect to SiriusXM through SONOS app/controller. Apple iOS SiriusXM app is working without any issues.

Ok, I have owned my play bar for 18 months or so and despite reading forums and all instructions and pointers, I am unable to create favourites lists. Using the three dots method, I get a number of options I.e. Find more tracks by this artist etc but nowhere is there an option to add to favourites. Any help or advice would be welcomed as it's becoming seriously irritating creating a new play list of the various tracks I prefer to listen to?
