Sonos Connect Vinyl - varying volumes on different devices
Hoping someone can help with vinyl set up using Sonos Connect. I’ve had this same system working previously prior to a house move but now seemingly am banging my head against the wall. I have the system set up as Turntable > Connect > Amp (with wired speakers connected). Initially I set this up, selected the Line-In and was getting no output from the vinyl playing. To check, I switched over to Sonos Radio as the input and had the smooth sounds of Cruise Control playing straight away through both the wired speaker and a separate Sonos 1 I paired the Connect to in my system. So that told me the signal is going from Connect > Amp & speakers.I looked at the Line-Out Level and started trying Fixed or Pass Through. This resulted in the vinyl coming through the wired speakers just fine, but left the Sonos 1 coming through incredibly quiet even when up to near full volume in the Sonos app. If anyone has encountered and/or mastered this problem in the past please do pass on any w
Speakers won't stay in group
I have a sonos one, beam, port, and move. Created one group, called it “all” and initially everything worked beautifully. But recently, it almost never works that all play. I can get two to play together and then turn off others and then the other two may play together. Really frustrated. Help!
FIX: Program IR so you dont have to hit volume repeatedly.
Lots of posts here and no fixes on how to program your soundbar to a remote where it requires you to repeatedly hit the volume button. I’ve been struggling with it and figured it out. I was trying to program a new Roku TCL remote and when I went in the app it would ask me to push volume up three times, then volume down three times then mute three times. It would work but it would require me to keep pressing volume up or down in order to adjust the volume. I wanted to press and hold volume up or down until it got to the desired volume level.I made a short video showing how to do it. It’s on youtube, you can just search “Program Sonos SoundBar IR Volume when it requires hitting button repeatedly” I will also post the link below — not sure if it will allow me to post the link so in case it does not you know how to find the video.. easier to show than try to explain.
Trouble installing Sonos port
I just purchased a brand new Sonos Port. This replaced a Sonos Connect that stopped working. The old Sonos Connect had RCA plugs going into Audio In coming from a Denon AVR-S710W receiver. The receiver was hooked up to five speakers throughout the house. The Sonos Port was setup using Wi-Fi and the Sonos app found it easily. The color of the light in front of it is white. I can play music on the Sonos app but I am not getting any sound from speakers. I hooked the RCA cables to the audio IN option in the back of the Sonos Port.Any suggestions for me to get sound from my speakers is appreciated.
Distressed Streaming from Synology NAS
We have a collection of Sonos speakers that include: three OneSL, one Beam, two Play1, one Play 3 and one Sub. While streaming from any service, Apple Music or Pandora for example, most of the time everything plays beautifully, but I have noticed that in the Kitchen, which has 2 OneSL paired, one or both will drop out and then kick back in a few moments later. Since I am not always in the kitchen, I do not know how often nor have I found anything to reproduce the situation, though it continues to occur. All speakers are WM: 0 via the wired Beam. While streaming from my Synology NAS I get frequent drop outs, or even some distorted sound and then it picks back up and plays fine after a few moments to a few minutes which creates for an unlistenable experience.Any suggestions?
Individual and group volume
This problem occurs when I am playing music via Spotify in a group and I try to adjust individual volume in the Sonos app. When I adjust the individual volume on one speaker, it affects the volume on every other speaker in the group. Also, the speaker I am adjusting bounces to different level. This just started happening today. It worked for two years without this problem.
sonos wont connect to new wifi network
Hey, I have successfully connected my Sonos to new wifi many times but for some reason I can’t get my Sonos to connect this time. The app doesn’t even see my network when I click plug directly into my gateway Eero, the one that’s conecto to my modem. I’ve factory reset my Sonos to factory settings a bunch of times. Doesn’t help. Also, under settings in the app, account and system are grayed out. Please advise!

Playbase wifi issue
My Playbase suddenly failed to connect to the rest of my system. I have tried to reset, and it is unable to be found. It works with a wired connection, so seems to be a WiFi issue. I have read a bunch of similar problems with the Playbase at the community. Any recommendations? Diagnostic number: 1113609003
Computer Doesn't "Wake" Sonos One
I have just purchased the Sonos One. I’m an Apple Music subscriber, I have an iPhone and a MacBook Pro. I set the audio output on the MBP to the Sonos. When I haven’t used the system in a few hours and I return to my room, I see that the MBP is still set to output to the Sonos. I’ll start playing music on the Music app but there is no sound coming from the Sonos. Apparently I need to wake it up? I tap once on top of the Sonos and that “wakes” it but it also pauses the music. I won’t say this is a show stopper but it is less than optimal at the very least. How do I prevent this from happening?
Audio baluns with Samsung Frame
So I have a Samsung Frame 2022 model with a Sonos Arc. The One connect box is located in a cupboard near by. In order to keep costs down and not use a EARC Balun can I use the HDMI to optical converter than extend the optical signal over cat6 which than plugs into the one connect box via optical.
Sonos Sub Won't Connect Wirelessly
Hi all,My Sub is visible on my App and in the lounge with the Amp and surrounds but it won’t connect when I try. If I hard wire it to the amp then it works but I can’t leave it in the position. It asks me if I want to add this sub to Lounge and then just says it can’t connect. I have reset it multiple times and left it for a while before I try and connect it but nothing.Everything else on my network is working fine. Really annoying!
When I try to connect to my device it comes up with Amazon Music Error. Retry when you have a stronger network connection
I have had my system for a good year or so now but one day it just stopped working. I have ask Alexa to tell the weather/ time etc but won’t play any music. When I go into the app on my phone and try to connect to a device it comes up with this Amazon Music Error. I feel I have tried everything, unplugging - resetting - logging out of app and back in. Also now under Music & Content I can’t find Amazon Music? If I play Sonos Radio through here it will play but my sono will only work through here through my phone not voice??
Sonance Outdoor Speaker sound is cracking!
I’ve enjoyed the Sonance (White) outdoor speakers for a couple of years using the Sonos amp and never had any issues until recently speaker sounds like it’s crackling, they are mounted to the side of the house and protected in shade the entire time. There’s no need to turn it up loud because our entire house is filled with Sonos. Because it is a Sonos speaker I contacted them directly and we did a complete diagnostic, changed wires etc. then I was told there’s nothing Sonos can do so I have to contact Sonance, The maker of the outdoor Sonos speakers! It’s been awhile now and no reply. I really don’t understand why it would sound like this. I’ve never turned it up all the way. I am very much into sound quality and even tone. Someone please help. Thanks
Symfonisk speakers keeps disconnecting from M1 mac mini
My Symfonisk speakers are used as all-time connected to my Mac via airplay. Both speakers and Mac Mini M1 are connected via ethernet cable to the same switch.Music playback normally works when changing system audio output from system speakers to Symfonisk pair and they will work without issues, but that “depends”. Depends on that is some audio (youtube, program, spotify) making noises is still active on a computer. If I stop playback of anything for 1-2 min and try to play something again - from browser, movie - there is no sound. I need to change again output to built in speakers and again - to Symfonisk pair.Saddly I need to stop my playbacks many times during my working day I need to answer a phone and that makes that I need to each time flap the output - this is very annoying issue. My diagnostics 1781489933
Samsung Terrace and Sonos Amp

I have read issues about the eArc input and the Amp….but cannot seem to find a solution/answer. Any suggestions other than purchasing the dongle? Thanks!
