Sonos boost connection on S2 app
Moved house with new router. S2 app does not recognise the boost, the rest of the system was found and is on the regular wi-if network. tried various things, rebooting router, changed cables, changed sockets in the router and on the boost, tried a factory reset on the boost - but now it just has the green flashing indicator lighthow do I get the boost to connect and provide the dedicated network for Sonos that is needed to prevent drop out etc
Last-ditch effort to get misbehaving Sonos One Gen 2 working
I have a Sonos Gen 2 that has been misbehaving badly lately, and this is a last-ditch effort to try to resurrect it.Symtoms:When connected to Ethernet, it powers on and then I get a solid white light.When not on Ethernet, it flashes white several times and then the light goes out.When I factory reset on Ethernet, it flashes white 3 times, then goes into a sequence of 4 white/orange flashes, then it repeats the sequence as long as I keep the button on the back held down.If I hold the PLAY/PAUSE button, it flashes white a few times and then goes solid red.Looking at my Pi-Hole device list, it DOES show up in my list of Ethernet devices and is assigned an IP address, so there is *some* life to it.I have tried factory resetting it several times, both on/off Ethernet, including at the request of a Sonos chat agent, to no avail. Components drop off system Intermittently
I am running a Gen-1 system comprising two Connect ZP90's, a Connect Amp ZP120 and a ZoneBridge BR100. Intermittently, the two ZP90's keep dropping off of the (Sonos) system. Checking my router web page, all components show up as connected and are assigned MAC addresses, even when NOT showing up on the Sonos app. One will disappear to be replaced by the other, before swapping again and (sometimes) temporarily all components will reappear on the system for a short time before disappearing again. This despite one of the ZP90's being hardwired to the router via a NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS108). Restarting the router seems to help temporarily, but isn’t providing a long term fix. Also, frequently, when trying to play a radio station on one of the ZP90's, I get a message saying "Cannot connect to Sonos Product" I have sent diagnostics and the confirmation number is: 1656924348. Can anybody help please? THANK YOU.
Individual and group volume
This problem occurs when I am playing music via Spotify in a group and I try to adjust individual volume in the Sonos app.When I adjust the individual volume on one speaker, it affects the volume on every other speaker in the group. Also, the speaker I am adjusting bounces to different level.This just started happening today. It worked for two years without this problem.

Hello!DO I HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE 4 8 OHMS SPEAKERS MAKING IMPEDANCE MARRIAGE IN 2 OHMS AND ONLY PLUG IN ONE AMP CHANNEL? ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE 4 OHMS SPEAKERS AND I WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT EACH PAIR IN PARALLEL USING THE TWO CHANNELS ON THE AMP. CAN I DO THIS? Thank you.
Playbase wifi issue
My Playbase suddenly failed to connect to the rest of my system. I have tried to reset, and it is unable to be found. It works with a wired connection, so seems to be a WiFi issue. I have read a bunch of similar problems with the Playbase at the community. Any recommendations? Diagnostic number: 1113609003
Facing Spotify Issue.
Hello,I have used spotify with sonos for a long time now, but for some reason spotify cant play on all my speakers specifically my two Play 1. When i start a playlist it keeps skipping songs and says “unable to play song, connection lost”. Usually after 3-5 skipped songs it will start playing. Both speakers are wired, and have been working for a long time. I have rebooted the speakers. Re connected spotify to sonos app. Router reboot.Everything else seems to work just fine, all other speakers (Arc, Sub, Play5 and one/sl) are working perfectly.
Computer Doesn't "Wake" Sonos One
I have just purchased the Sonos One. I’m an Apple Music subscriber, I have an iPhone and a MacBook Pro. I set the audio output on the MBP to the Sonos. When I haven’t used the system in a few hours and I return to my room, I see that the MBP is still set to output to the Sonos. I’ll start playing music on the Music app but there is no sound coming from the Sonos. Apparently I need to wake it up? I tap once on top of the Sonos and that “wakes” it but it also pauses the music. I won’t say this is a show stopper but it is less than optimal at the very least. How do I prevent this from happening?

Je m’explique : j’ai configuré mes sonos one en paire puisqu’elles sont dans le salon et dès lors que j’écoute la musique ou que je fais fonctionner ma télé au travers de mon Apple TV, une enceinte fonctionne mais pas l’autre. Dans ce cas, je suis obligée de supprimer la paire et la reconfigurer systématiquement. Parfois même, l’enceinte ne fonctionne plus en plein milieu d’un film ou autre. Et je dois refaire ce même mécanisme pour que ça fonctionne.Pour votre info : elles sont connectées au wifi (j’ai la fibre) Auriez vous une solution pour résoudre mon problème, svp ? Suddenly, trouble listening to BBC Sounds on an S1 system
Yesterday morning I was unable to listen to a BBC Sounds service: the message was “Unable to play 6 music: the song is not encoded correctly”. I’m on S1: after a day of fiddling about, rebooting everything, router, switches and all devices, it seems that, after a few tries, my S2 compatible devices are happy to play but my S1 devices aren’t. Could there be any other cause? Is this coincidence?Thanks for your consideration!

No sound coming out of Sonos speakers over Wi-Fi
I have 3 Sonos One speakers and a Sonos Move connected to Wi-Fi. My iPhone can connect to the speakers. Music appears to be playing on my phone, the volume is turned up and it appears to be connected to the speakers but no sound is coming out of the speakers (except if I switch the Move to Bluetooth). When I open the Sonos app on my iPhone, an error message appears “Unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it.” Proceeding through the repair wizard doesn’t fix the issue. I have checked my router and the speakers are appearing as attached devices and they have obtained an IP address. This same issue occurred once before and eventually it resolved itself. However, it is not resolving itself this time. How can this issue be fixed?
Unable to connect 2nd trusted WiFi Network
Hi there,I have 2x Play1 speakers, currently connected to and working on a WiFi network (WiFi disk).However, I want to connect the speakers direct to the router WiFi - a second trusted WiFi network.I have gone through the set up wizard many times via my Android Samsung smartphone. The S2 App does not manage to detect either of my Sonos speakers.I have tried a reboot of the speakers. And a reboot of the disk and router - just a switch on / off again. But no joy.Any suggestions before I consider a factory reset?Thanks
Audio baluns with Samsung Frame
So I have a Samsung Frame 2022 model with a Sonos Arc. The One connect box is located in a cupboard near by. In order to keep costs down and not use a EARC Balun can I use the HDMI to optical converter than extend the optical signal over cat6 which than plugs into the one connect box via optical.
Sonos S2 Popup
I need to use some of my speakers (x2 Play 5, Gen 1) on the S1 app and also have a Playbar on the same system - which i just use as a standalone speaker for a different room. However, I also have x2 Play 1 speakers and a Beam (gen 1) which I'm currently using on the S2 app.The problem is that when I open the S1 app to use with speakers in some of my rooms, I get an annoying popup telling me that I can use the S2 app with these speakers - but may first need to upgrade them to latest software (that seems to be wrong - they're incompatible). There is no way to close this popup screen and so I can't actually use my sound system. It's driving me crazy. Can anyone help with this?
Sonos Sub Won't Connect Wirelessly
Hi all,My Sub is visible on my App and in the lounge with the Amp and surrounds but it won’t connect when I try. If I hard wire it to the amp then it works but I can’t leave it in the position. It asks me if I want to add this sub to Lounge and then just says it can’t connect. I have reset it multiple times and left it for a while before I try and connect it but nothing.Everything else on my network is working fine. Really annoying!
Green Flashing light sonos boost
Light on my Sonos boost has been flashing green for around three weeks as of now, I know that it means its reset and ready to be connected. This system has been installed and registered on the S2 application, factory reset once or twice as well. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Symfonisk speakers keeps disconnecting from M1 mac mini
My Symfonisk speakers are used as all-time connected to my Mac via airplay.Both speakers and Mac Mini M1 are connected via ethernet cable to the same switch.Music playback normally works when changing system audio output from system speakers to Symfonisk pair and they will work without issues, but that “depends”. Depends on that is some audio (youtube, program, spotify) making noises is still active on a computer. If I stop playback of anything for 1-2 min and try to play something again - from browser, movie - there is no sound. I need to change again output to built in speakers and again - to Symfonisk pair.Saddly I need to stop my playbacks many times during my working day I need to answer a phone and that makes that I need to each time flap the output - this is very annoying issue.My diagnostics 1781489933
Samsung Terrace and Sonos Amp
I have a Samsung Terrace 55 inch with an eArc hdmi port. I have the Sonos amp with an HDMI input. I am unable to get these two things to work together. I have read issues about the eArc input and the Amp….but cannot seem to find a solution/answer. Any suggestions other than purchasing the dongle? Thanks!
sound issues delay when changing track spotify
I have 5 speakers One / Sub and play 5. My system is conected with wi fi Cable to One of the speakers and all speakers run at separate chanel in network. the trouble i have is when changing track via Sonos App or even Spotify AirPlay the speakers dont sync.it takes 3-4 secends to all speakers play in sync again Why //
