Hi all, i have just set up my Playbar, Sub and two rear Play1's. Can you recommend a couple of DVD or Blue-rays to show off the sound and surround immersion I want to see how great the system can sound. Thanks for your answers in advance. Regards, Charles.
I have connected the analog audio of my TV to my Sonos Amp. Audio is perfectly transmitted to the Amp-connected speakers. But the Play:3 audio (which is in my set-up) is interrupted / no continuous stream. If I play from the Sonos app everything works perfect (speakers @ Sonos Amp AND also Play:3 play perfect) , no interruption of the stream. Any idea?
I am attempting to add music stored in my NAS storage device (MyCloud) to my Sonos Play 5. When I do the step to add a new music folder on a networked device, I browse and under Network find and select WDmycloudmirror. I get an error message, “Windows cannot find WDmycloudmirror” I checked the Windows firewall and Sonos controller is on the list of apps that can go through the wall. I have an Acer laptop with Windows 10. The Mycloud storage device is working. Any suggestions on what I need to do to get set up would be appreciated.
I have updated my app and reloaded my music from my computer on the app and albums and songs show up in the "Folders" and "Songs" files, but don't show up in the "Albums" file. I have refreshed the file and still doesn't show up. Any clue why? Thanks
I was in the public beta testing Spotify Connect and today (Dec 7) it was released officially. Here are a few bugs. 1. Spotify Connect with Sonos doesn't work the way Spotify Connect does on other platforms. I'll explain. I have Spotify running on Windows 7 and on an Android TV Nexus Player. When I'm away from home, I can run the Spotify app on my phone, choose a playlist, and decide where to play it. From a remote location the list of devices where I can play Spotify includes my Windows 7 Spotify app, as well as the Android TV Spotify app. I can setup my home Sonos (while at home) to play audio from my PC or from my Android TV. So if I am away from home, and I use Spotify Connect to play music at home using Windows 7 or Android TV, the music will be playing when I arrive home (provided Sonos has been setup to play music from that source. I expected that Sonos would be a 3rd device that I could play to remotely. The advantage would be that I wouldn't have to setup Sonos when I wa
Sonos controller beta can't find my sonos, on desktop, iOS, and Android alike. Players still work if I press the front or top button they resume playing from their queues. Tried resetting controllers and they can't find anything, even after I do the two-button press on the ZP. What's up?
The songs I add to my 'Starred' playlist appear in reverse order in the spotify app, so not in order from when I added them. It annoys me as I would like to listen to the songs I added the latest as those are the songs I like the most. I hope this "problem" can be fixed.
I just want to get this right as i am very confused ( cant get my sonos playing ) Im looking to update the controller on my iphone so i can set up the speaker my question is : it seems that i CANNOT update the app before there is actual money on the creditcard linked to my applestore account (also not working if u just dont have a credit card then ur pretty much ****? lucky i have one tho not everyone does) even tho the update is free? yup i know apple fault etc.. but the thought that hits me first is more , for real? u created a speaker that i cant use if i dont have credit on my applestore? ;s
Bought new playbar today. paired my sky remote no problem. However, when watching tv, if you push volume down on the sky remote, the volume on the playbar goes to max at the same time (you can watch this happening on the app) When the app/playbar volume hits max then the decreasing sky volume takes over and volume decreases to zero. This causes 2 problems: the volume gets louder before getting lower and also because the player volume is at max, there is not enough range between zero and if you turn volume up 1 click it can be too loud.
I'm finding - both on desktop and iOS app - that if I want Spotify Connect to play to Sonos, I have to play something first via the Sonos controller before Spotify Connect will connect to a device. The Sonos units are showing up in the Sonos Controllers OK and I can play to them OK. It seems to happen after my Sonos system has been idle for some hours. Once I get it playing, it will play for some hours. However, I have experienced complete breaks. The Sonos unit goes into the 'No Music' state. Spotify won't connect. Have to restart Spotify and have to play something via the Sonos Controller before Spotify will play to Sonos. Anyone else got symptoms like this? Any explanation or fix?
I hope someone can help with this. I have 2 play 3's, a connect amp, and a boost, these are all connected wirelessly, I also have a connect that is wired over Ethernet. The problem I'm having is that every time I transfer any files from my home NAS to any device, I loose my sonos system.. I.e. not found. I have an 80mb fibre connection from sky and I recently bought the boost to try and rectify this issue. It seems that the NAS is sucking all my bandwidth whilst transferring files, but I can't work out how to stop it happening.. any help is greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts
So I go through the steps, sign in to my respective Google Play Music and Amazon Prime Music accounts through the Sonos App on my Galaxy Note 4, and it will not connect. I keep getting the message "There was a problem adding the Google Play Music/Amazon Music account. A connection to Google Play Music/Amazon Music could not be made." Been trying for two days straight with no luck. No problems connecting to my Pandora or Sirius XM accounts.
Hi, Hope you can help! I get a few (2-3) dropouts of a few seconds each, after switching to another tv channel or after rewinding/fast forwarding on my tv recorded video's. I connected my UHD Sony tv via an optical cable, switched/tested with all three available channels. No result. Listening to my radiostations works fine. After spending almost 2k Euro I hope that you can help me to solve thuis annoying issue. My diagnostic number is 6768440 Thanks in advance. Cheers, Ronald
Upgraded all my Sonos clients to v 7 yesterday. Registered my products with my Sonos account and all my rooms showed up in my Spotify client. So far - so good. Following the upgrade all my rooms show up in the Spotify app but Spotify is not able to connect. Further, I am no longer able to connect to Spotify from my Sonos clients anymore. Have tried removing my Spotify profiles from Sonos, but Sonos is then not able to add them again. It claims that there are issues with my wireless connection. Trying to install other services (e.g. Wimp) work perfectly well. Any suggestions to what I can do is welcomed.
I've had this Sonos system for a year or so and everything was great. My wife wanted to access her music library on her Mac and the library settings are grayed out and won't let her do anything. MY Windows machine seemed OK but now the Update Library Settings are also grayed out. I don't mess with her Mac much and I seem to have been good at getting Sonos to run on both our machines but now I'm baffled. I probably upset the apple cart by removing the system and now adding the two Play1 and connect appliances from scratch. I've added some songs to a playlist but she can do nothing except use the playlist I created and cannot create one of her own.
