This is a weird one. I use a CONNECT:AMP to play music in my home gym. I have the audio from a Sky box connected to the line in on the CONNECT:AMP so I can watch tv and listen to the audio through the attached speakers. I also have a Play 5 in the gym which I mostly use to be able to listen to music or the tv using headphones. To listen to the tv using headphones I use the line in that's plugged in to the CONNECT:AMP as the source for the Play 5. This all worked brilliantly until a week ago. Now the line in to the CONNECT:AMP still works (I hear the tv on the attached speakers) but, although the line in is still listed as a source, when I choose it from any of the Sonos devices in my house (including the Play 5) there is no sound (despite the line in being selected as the source and the app/ player letting me play it on any device in the house). The only device that actually lets me hearr the tv is the CONNECT:AMP. CONNECT:AMP is Version: 7.0 (build 34735162c), Hardware Version:
After the latest update my sonos application have start acting weird. The app shuts down and starts over when I start it. But sometimes I get into the app but it wants me to connect to the internet even if I have full connection to wifi. Is it my phone or software that is the problem. Thanks for answer!
After a recent update my players keep disappearing, I have a Connect directly connected to my BT Hub 6 Router and have two Connect Amps a Play5 and two Play3's. they have been working brilliant for years but recently was forced to update controller and players and now I have major problems with my whole system. Players keep dropping off the Mesh and keep getting various errors including Error 1001. Spent 2 hours on the phone today to support and played for about 5 minutes once I came of the phone.. any sugestions?
Most of the time my spouse and I keep our iPads / iPhones muted. We noticed recently that if we go into the Sonos controller app and hit play and/or adjust speaker volume using either the slider or physical controls on the device, the device's volume is kept at that setting after exiting the Sonos controller and or closing the app. Not certain if we just didn't notice before or if this behavior is new since the latest update (7.0.1). At worst it's just annoying, but no other app we have and tried does this. Are we being overly critical or is this a potential bug?
I'm looking for set up advice to enable me to play content from all my hifi components. My current set up is:- Turntable to Pre-amp IN ; Pre-amp OUT to Connect IN Connect OUT to Amplifier Aux1 IN This allows me to stream music to all Sonos speakers around the house as well as my hifi speakers as well as output from the turntable. However, I can't seem to play content from my CD Player or Tuner to my Sonos speakers unless without uncoupling and switching cables to the Connect IN. Is there a way I can achieve this without having to continually switch cables around?
Anyone who has my Wifi router network password can connect to my SONOS speaker through Spotify Connect. Once they have made connection, my Sonos speaker will stay in their list of available speakers once they leave my home. They can control my speakers from anywhere in the country/world through their 4G network. How can I prevent this from my end?
I've looked around but can't seem to find any solutions to the issue I'm facing: the Sonos app on iOS seems to be unable to hand off control once I move between my primary router and the extended network router. I get the 'Unable to Connect to Sonos Player' warning until I either return to the original router I began control on or cycle through Airplane Mode near the new router. I have an Airport Express that's connected via Ethernet to our modem creating our primary network (radio mode, 2.4GHz channel, & 5GHz channel all set to automatic, 5Ghz network name is off). Behind that I have an Airport Time Capsule extending the network (router mode is 'Off - Bridge Mode'). My entire SONOS system is setup in Standard Mode. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Setup two iPads, a Sonos Connect, a Play 1 and a Play 5. All fully updated. When Im using the Sonos app on my iPad, then sometimes when I change to another app on the iPad the volume is maximized. This is strange but not a problem. But its quite annoying that this also sometimes happends across the two iPads. If someone controls the Sonos on one of the iPads, sometimes the sound level on the other iPad is maximized, and the volume indicator is shown on screen. Anyone know why? Maybee a WA?
I have moved house and my wifi signal isn't connecting with my sonos5. I already have a Sky booster plugged into my BT router. How can I also connect a Sonos booster? Do I need a splitter of some kind for the ethernet cables? I have two sonos 5's do they both need plugging in to the router? I want them in different rooms. The house is very old with thick walls.
Hi, I've had my Play 1 for a month, it's been working fine up until last week, the sound was fantastic. But I find it not as pleasant to listen to as i feel like the speaker plays music more pronounced from the right channel, and the left channel is barely audible. Has anyone encountered this?
I have my Sonos integrated with my Home Assistant system and can play single tracks and radio stations, but I can't figure out what Uri I shall use for Spotify albums or play lists? Does anyone know? If I look under http://#.#.#.#:1400/status/perf I can't see any real Uri's for albums or play lists, just single tracks and radio stations.
I have had a playbar for 2 years. Has worked flawlessly. All of a sudden, it completely lost connection. I can not add it back to Sonos. No sound is coming from it, from the TV connected to toslink. Here is a rundown of my setup, in case it helps. Router (Asus RT-AC3100). Ethernet from Router directly to 8 port switch near entertainment center. Plugged directly into switch is Entertainment devices (Ps4, Xbox one, etc) and Playbar. So, playbar is directly wired to ethernet. Savant Remote controls all AV items, including the Sonos. Up until 2 weeks ago, everything worked flawlessly. All of a sudden, the remote would not control volume (i would still hear volume from playbar), but had to manually adjust volume. Since then I can not see an IP assigned to the playbar, even though it is plugged in directly. Playbar maintains solid white light. When i reset the playbar (unplug, hold play/pause, plug back in, wait for flashing amber or green light) and try to ad
