Has anyone else experienced any problems since upgrading their iPhone to iOS 10.2? I have intermittent problems since iOS 10.2 upgrade the other day. The controller keeps losing the wi-fi signal. I have tried everything I can to cure this including re-booting my router, turning wi-fi on and off on my iPhone 6, turning my iPhone 6 on and off, but no improvement. I had no problems before the upgrade to iOS 10.2. My wife has not upgraded her iPhone 6 to iOS 10.2 yet and she has no problem. Also I have no problem with the Sonos Controller on my Android tablet.
Hi, This is driving me nuts so any help would be much appreciated. I have 3 Sonos players which are mainly used with the Spotify service; A Play 3 in the living room, a Play 1 in the kitchen and another Play 1 in the bedroom. The Play 1 in the bedroom is the furthest away from the router (Wireless router in the living room downstairs, Play 1 in the bedroom upstairs). I also have a PS4 that is connected via Ethernet cable to the router in the living room (PS4 is NOT linked to Spotify). The problem is, if the Play 1 is in use in the bedroom and the PS4 is switched on, this for some reason stops the playback on the Play 1. This problem does NOT occur with the Play 1 in the kitchen, or the Play 3 in the living room. Has anybody ever experienced this issue before, or has any idea what could be causing this and know how to fix it? Many thanks in advance, Dan
Hi there...I've been using for a while the Spotify app to stream music to my sonos speakers and is all working excellent but when you have grouped speaker and you want to turn up or down the volume from the Spotify app seems to work only with one of the grouped speakers so you have to still go to the sonos app to fix it. Anyone else with this issue?.
After connecting my two new Play3s to the Playbar as surround speakers, the Play3 speaker volume was very low, even after maxing out the TV Volume slide bar under the Surround option button. The only way I found to increase the volume was by using the volume buttons on the speakers themselves. I have not seen that method mentioned anywhere in any other discussion related to surround speaker volume. Is that an acceptable/expected method to fix my low volume issue?
I would like to be able to operate the two Play3s that are part of my surround system WITHOUT the playbar when listening to music (not watching TV). Is there an easy way to set up this option? Can I just setup another “room” (Living Room 2) and pair the Play3s in that ‘room’ and just switch to Living Ro om 2 when listening to music?
Hello people! I am having issues with my Sonos:AMP when running on wireless. When we are only a few people at home its not too bad, but sometimes i get disconnected from the AMP, and the music stops playing. Then i have to wait 30ish seconds before i can reconnect. What's funny is that when my kids visit, and alot of mobile devices connect to the router "Xclaim X-2" the problem becomes much more frequent. I think that, and so does my son, the wireless channels are overlapping. But i have tried chaning the channels on my router (Xclaim): So its using channel 3 and my sonos is set to use channel 11. Hi there I have recently added two Play:1 speakers to my Sonos ecosystem at home (each one in a different room). The one Play:1 stays connected to both Sonos Controller and Spotify. No problem there. The other Play:1 is only connected to Spotify. I cannot see it in my Sonos Controller app under Rooms. If I switch the Play:1 that is not connected to the Sonos Controller off and on again it seems to reconnect to both Spotify and Sonos Controller. After a while it then disconnects from the Sonos controller again, but is still controllable from Spotify. This problem seems to be slightly different from what some other users on this forum have been experiencing with it not connecting at all. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks
I have an existing sonos system comprising of a sound bar and 2 Play 1 speakers which are in the lounge asa surround system now I have purchased a Play 3 which I want in my dining room can I add this to the existing if yes how do I do this as I have just set it up in the dining room and no sound is coming out of it please help
I have reset the Sonos controller, because some devices CONNECT were continuously disconnecting. Now with the new controller set in Sonos app, I have tried to load music service Spotify. but spotify doesn't appear anymore in the list of available streaming services. I have then connected Sonos to spotify through the general settings, and then started Spotify with my account. Now Spotify makes available the Sonos devices for playing/streaming, but when I click on any of the available Sonos devices from Spotify, it simply do not connect on any. spotify continues to play the music on the device itself (MAC, iphone, or android phone). Is there anyone having the same frustration?
I bought a Playbar and a Sub. During initial set up, both connected fine for about 5 minutes. Now I can't get the sub to connect. Today I bought a Boost and the sub STILL won't connect. Both these items are brand spanking new. I just spent $1,400 for a system that won't work...I'm beyond frustrated right now.
I have searched and read multiple posts through the years about the same issue. I have had my SONOS system for 4+ years and have had my Music Library, at one point, working perfectly, but recently I did a force refresh from the iPhone app & it crashed and now the library is completely gone and when I go to re-add my library I get the message that everyone gets, "Please wait". I have uninstalled the controller app on my iMac & reinstalled, no go. Rebooted, no go. Reset my router, no go. Unplugged my Bridge and all 5 of my speakers for 20sec, no go. I have let the "Updating Music Library" run for 72hrs+, no go. Nothing has worked. I have about 20,000 songs in iTunes. No Audiobooks. No Podcasts. Running Mac OS 10.12.2. iTunes 188.8.131.52. iPhone app 7.0.1. Mac app 7.0. Has anyone ever gotten this resolved because none of the posts I found offered a definitive working solution. Thanks!
Sonos happily working yesterday today... is not connecting and message 'Computer "......" cannot be found. I have removed SONOS app and reinstalled, rebooted system, firewall enables Sonos however still cannot find my mac and therefore cannot load music (from iTunes). I have sent a message to SONOS with dig # but not received any response as yet. Any ideas??? thanks
hi I am trying to update my Sonos system as i got the message " update your sons before to use it" so I tried to go on the toolbar up on the left under"check for update" but i cannot click on it as it doesn't appear available..so what should i do ? my sonos controller is version 7.
I have the iPhone (iOS 10) Deezer app which can play music via Airplay or bluetooth or line out. Plus I have the Sonos Deezer app which plays only on my Sonos Play:1. I want to play the same song with both apps simultaneously so I can use my Play:1 together with my excellent Logitech Boombox for Ipad bluetooth speaker. So I need an electronic "button" (an app) which I can press on my iPhone to start a song simultaneously in both apps, allowing for any time lag. Maybe the iPhone microphone can be used to help with the syncing by listening to the music from both speakers and delaying any which is out of sync. Has anyone developed this? Is this a good idea? Let me know if you want to use my idea (invention).
