I have the following setup:HARDWARE- Philips 55OLED856/12- AppleTV 4K (2nd Gen)- Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub, 2 Sonos One’s as SurroundsCONNECTIONS- Sonos Arc connected via HDMI-2 - eArc- AppleTV Connected to HDMI-1 - ArcTV Audio Settings- Audio Output - HDMI Sound System- eARC - Automatic- Digital Out Format - Multichannel (bypass)AppleTV Audio Settings- Audio Output - Receiver Speakers- Audio Format - Auto- Audio Mode - Auto When playing video from AppleTV that is in DolbyAtmos/DolbyVision all the sound is sent to the correct channels. When playing video that is not in DolbyAtmos (normally from Disney+, Netflix or Amazon Video) the audio is not being sent to the correct audio channels. It seems that the Voice Audio that would normally come from the centre channel is being sent to the rear surround channels. I have tested and this appears to be only be happening when the video/audio is coming from the AppleTV. I have tested Netflix and Disney+ from the AppleTV - TV - Arc and the audio that i
Hi,Recently I discovered that my Sonos Beam column kept adjusting back to volume 15 whenever I adjusted the volume louder. The range for volume is between 0 to 15. Anymore than 15 it will auto jump back to 15. I do not have volume limit. I had also make sure my Sonos is up to date. I just submitted a diagnostic. My confirmation number is 257039574. Does anyone knows how to fix this issue? Thank you very much!
First and foremost I fully enjoy my Sonos speakers. Recently purchased the Sonos Roam. Amazing speaker with great sound! However, I notice everyday I come home from work, it's turned on knowing I turned it off. First, why?? Secondly, will this ever change?? The Roam never leaves the charger if I want to be able to use this thing. Can and will there ever be an update to fix this?? Thanks in advance, Greg
I’ve had my Sonos 5 for 4 years now - this morning my desktop app (Mac 10.14.6), which is running on the same computer as my library, suddenly couldn’t find my music library and whenever I try adding it back, it just says ‘sonos was unable to add music folder’ any ideas?
I have two Symfonisk bookshelf speakers in my living room paired to work in stereo. Up until today they have performed perfectly. I’ve had them for about a year. Today they suddenly started losing the stereo - one speaker would drop the audio and then pick it back up. It is occurring in both speakers - it’s not like just one goes out. It started out fine this morning. After I had been listening for about 30 minutes it started and hasn’t stopped. I’m not finding anything like this when I google - most people have one speaker go all the way out. Both of mine cut in and out. Help!
I got the Roam yesterday, and was able to get it to work and I added other devices when I linked them to Roam. But now the other devices will no longer work on their own. When I click on the “play” icon, it immediately goes back to the square - stop - icon. Tried the computer, my iPad, nothing works without having the Roam as the primary device. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Setup: Windows 11RTX 3090Sonos ArcPhilips OLED856 IssueAfter a certain period of time (15 minutes to an hour), the regular sound cuts out, and the only sound output from my Sonos arc is a very loud static sound. This only happens when I have Dolby Atmos is enabled in the windows sound configuration (when using stereo mode, this hasn't occurred). I've tried switching the HDMI cables from the PC to TV, and this did not help (in one case, when I used DVI to HDMI, it made it worse, and the only sound was the aforementioned static).I am not sure where the issue is coming from (i.e. TV, GPU, etc.), which makes debugging much harder, so I wondered if anyone has experienced this.
Recently music playing choppy ans getting network buffering issues error. Never happened before. I use wifi to connect all devices using sonos 1 app. tried disconnecting my nest cameras to see they weee causing interference to wifi but no change. Does anyone know how to resolve?
Sonos only plays one sing when using playlist, songs, albums stored in computer even though and album is chosen as well as shuffle. This is relatively new event in a six year old system. Software is up to date. The first sone of the album stops at the end with the triangle play button showing up again for the same song, not the next one in the album. WiFi is with ten feet, up to date, working fine on other uses including streaming for TV (TV is off when using SONOS). What am I missing or not doing? It has worked well in the past...same equipment, nothing new. Thanks
Hi, i managed to fix the defective power supply so that the voltage can be measured. I have 230v ac and 220v dc on the bridge rectifier, 100v on the large capacitor, but unfortunately no voltage is passed on to the output.Has anyone an idea of the reasons why?
I’m having the Arc, sub and 2 sonos surround speakers installed to go with a new LG OLED C1 model. I’ve read many reports of audio dropouts with this setup and older models TVs. Has this problem been resolved? Thanks
Hello! My controller routinely plays the wrong song. I will click on a song/album, but it plays something completely different.Using controller app on macOS Monterey 12.3 and Sonos Controller 14.2 (both latest version). I have experienced this problem before on earlier versions of controller and OS. It seems to have returned.Typical flow to recreate problem:Now Playing has a current list of songs. Navigate to Apple Music > Recently Added (or any other configuration). Single click on a song/album from the list in the far right column. Hover over and click the down triangle on a song/album. Click on “Replace Que”. Sonos does NOT play selected song/album -- instead it plays a song/album further down on the list. It replaces the que, but plays a totally different song that I never even clicked on. This happens every time I repeat the above steps. Has been happening for about 3 months now.I want the problem to go away. Probably requires a software correction. Sharing here so others can ad
This problem has been going on for many months now, I live in Montréal, Canada. Many people seem to have reported the same problem and living in Europe or the US.This can happen a few or even many times in an hour and this is very annoying, please help!
for some reason I keep getting the 701 error “(An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue) with only one of my Spotify playlists, all other Spotify created and self created playlists seem to play fine. I have 3700 songs in my playlist and the Sonos app definitely lists all the songs but as soon as I try to play anything from the playlist I get the error. I've tried playing the first song, shuffle, the play button etc and still get the same results. All apps and settings are current and please don't ask me to restart my device or router. This Sonos app is remarkably buggy and frustrating in other respects but I'm learning to live with it’s clunkiness in hopes of future improvements. Any solutions for the 701 error is appreciated as I really wish to listen to my playlist. Thank you.
I currently have an Arc, AMP and a Move. I have the AMP hooked up to a pair of speakers and linked to the Arc for surround sound on the TV. I also have a 3rd party (Polk-audio self powered) sub-woofer that I’m trying to integrate with the AMP to enhance the surround sound but it doesn’t seem to be working. I use the app for that room and tap “connect sub” but the app can’t find the sub. Any suggestions? Are there unique connections that need to be made?
