Duplicated iTunes Playlists

Ok, I already searched, read, and tried the suggestions for ways of removing duplicated iTunes Playlists from my Sonos system. All those attempts only add more duplicates. As in now I have some Playlists being listed 3 times in my Sonos.I searched everyone on my computer and NAS drive for any duplicated, no duplicated exist. I checked my Music Library on my computer, no duplicates exist. Yet, Sonos insists to show me duplicated Playlists.I’m completely stumped and out of anymore things to try. Besides the only thing I can think of and see reference to is the Sonos “Share”, but no comments that say about the “Share” provides any info as to where this “Share” is or how to access it. Any thoughts? Thank you.

"Access Denied" on one device but not another

Hi, all!  I have an S1 system with a Playbar and a Play:5 Gen1, I’m using the S1 Android app for control, and my music library is on an SMB share.The app sees the devices and the music library and plays everything perfectly on the Playbar, but when I try to play a track on the Play:5 I get “Unable to play track-name - access to //computer/folder denied”.I’ve tried the usual stuff -- deleting and adding the music library, power-cycling the devices, rebooting the router, switching from wireless to wired network connection.  I always get the same behavior.It’s been a while since I used the Play:5 so I don’t know exactly when this behavior appeared.  Sometime in the last five months, though.Any ideas for how I can go about debugging this?  Thanks!

Specific songs skipping, always at the same time point

All the skipping issues I have seen posted relate to tracks skipping at random. I am finding that about 10% of the songs on my hard drive skip, always at the same time point, which varies between songs. A message will come up at, say, 1:14 saying the connection was lost and then it will play for another 20 seconds or so before skipping ahead. The songs affected show no pattern - some old, some new, some from cds, some from Bandcamp downloads.

App doesn't update music library

Since last app (Android) update April 12, just discovered my Music Library has not been updated since April 12. Manually scanned and still nothing since the update. Figured I would reinstall the app, now nothing on the music library Folder name shows up but nothing in the folder. All music is visible in Windows Media selection but that is still unusable due to the order of titles. Any ideas?

Sonos vil ikke spille noen radiokanaler har 1 generasjon Sonos med Play1 og Play5. Styrer Sonis med sonos-app S1 for 4 dager siden sluttet Nrk radioen å virke på alle sonos høyttalerne. Andre radiokanaler virker Spotify strømmetjeneste virker helt fint har slått av og på strøm på høyttalere slått av og på Strøm på internett router Melding når jeg prøver å spille nrk er: «kunne ikke spille NRK-låten er ikke korrekt kryptert»

Unable to re authorize Spotify - activation link with link code failing

I have followed the suggestion in topic 228994 but that did not resolve the issue.I still receive the error code “The link code you entered is not valid. Please check the link code and re-enter it below.”Where else is the linking code supposed to appear? I log into my account, I check my phone, I check my email and there is no linking code shown?

new apple music playlists not showing up in sonos app

Created a few new Apple Music playlists today and they are not showing up in Sonos.  I had now problems with playlists I created a week ago.  I have turned library syncing on and off on all devices (as per previous closed thread suggestion) but still no luck.  When deleting playlists from Apple Music these changes show up in Sonos but nothing when I add them.  Any help is much appreciated.

Unable to play some flac files: "unsupported sample rate 88200"

I see posts here on the forums for some years complaining about this issue.Can Sonos simply add support for it so we can move on?(IOW: If hi res files are out there, just Let Us Listen!) I have an album I really like, and I have to break out a bluetooth speaker to listen to it.Seems crazy.

Subscribed to Sonos HD but still hearing ads and can't skip songs

Basically the title says it all. I renewed my subscription and it shows I am subscribed in my account, but I still am hearing the Sonos ads and can't skip songs. I’ve refreshed the app several times, logged out and in, nothing seems to work. Don’t like paying for a service that’s not working.

Amazon Music Not working

I am receiving periodically messages when I try to access Amazon Music through my Sonos system that I need to go to Amazon.music.com and supply missing information. I go to the website and there is absolutely no missing information. I delete and install Amazon music in my music services and it usually works, but the next day I can not access Amazon Music. Is this a system issue?

Can't launch Artist Radio from Tidal.

When you select a particular artist in Tidal you can then choose between Top tracks, Albums, EPs and singles, Playlists, Artist radio and Compilations.When selecting Artists radio you are taken to a playlist with no way of starting it. You can only select a track.Clicking the first track does not begin playing everything and adds only that one track to your Sonos playlist.Tidal Artist Radio worked until a few days ago, something has changed.

Unable to play ONLY radio deejay

Hi, since i updated yesterday 26|4|2022 my SONOS, the italian radio called Radio DeeJay (Milano/Lombardia/Italia) is not working anymore. SONOS gets it from TuneIn, I tried on the TuneIn website and also there Radio DeeJay doesn't work...whilst both on Sonos and on TuneIn the other radios from the same city are working well… anyone can help?Thanks

Alexa not working properly on my SONOS ONE

When I ask Alexa to play a radio station or an artist it recognises the request and replies, eg ‘playing xx from Global Player’ or ‘shuffling songs by...’ but then silence. I can play these fine through the speaker using the app. If I ask a straight forward question eg what’s the weather forecast Alexa replies correctly. Does anyone know what the issue is with the music and radios?

VOX music and Sonos Five

I recently purchased a Sonos Five speaker and have been streaming through VOX music player app on iPhone.  I have all of my music uploaded in VOX.  I get random static when when streaming through the VOX app but not so far when I stream through Apple Music or Amazon Music app.  Does anyone else use VOX to stream to Sonos and have a similar issue?  Someone in Sonos support told me that VOX isn’t supported on Sonos but VOX website says otherwise.  Here’s the link...https://vox.rocks/sonos-support.Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Amazon Music Dolby Atmos songs low volume thru Beam gen 2

Anyone else have this? I called Sonos and they said it’s Amazon’s issue. VERY annoying and it’s only with stations on Amazon Music Unlimited.. playlists and albums are ok.

Sonos not playing BBC Radio stations

My Sonos system has stopped playing BBC Radio stations. It registers the various stations when I select one but will not play when I hit the play button. It plays other stations, eg Classic FM ok.Any ideas anyone?

Sonos One hangs up like a broken record

After the latest Sonos update, my gf unplugged the Sonos One during the update thinking it was something wrong when thr led started to blinking and now the speaker makes a strange electronic sound and hangs up (almost like a broken record), and doesnt play any further.I have tried to factory set the speaker without any luck.   Have never experienced this before.Diagnostic: 35527183

Too Many Music Sources

I have, somehow, created more music sources than I need. The image shows this. I only need the Music Library - that’s the one linked to my app. I need to get rid of BlustoNAS / Windows Media / Sonos Playlists. I can’t find a way to achieve this and would appreciate help please. Cheers all.

Adding Apple Music to Android Sonos App

Hello, I have recently needed to take my Apple Music App subscription direct with Apple rather than through my telecommunications carrier. I took up a personal membership. Ever since doing this I needed to reauthorize the access through the Sonos App on my Android phone (current Samsung model) as you cannot add in Apple on the PC version of the Sonos Software. But I cannot get it to work. I have looked through the Sonos community advise, reset everything in the system and even reloaded software. Nothing works and I get this error flow. So to add service and select apple music, the system goes to load up the previously remembered apple ID asks you to press continue asks for your password. you enter your password. Warning bang Javascript: We’ve run into a problem. Try again. OK. You click ok and it dumps you back to step 2. How can I get this to work?

NAS Music Library Access Issues

Hi! I’m a long-time Sonos user who recently (1) replaced my Windows computer and (2) added a NAS drive to my network. The NAS is a Buffalo LinkStation 220. I have 5 separate music folders that Sonos accesses (I used to have one but it stopped automatically updating and Sonos asked me to break them out into 5 different folders about 9 months ago). I transferred those 5 folders from the old computer to the new one. I then transferred those 5 folders from the new computer to the NAS. When I tried to link to those folders from Sonos, it only linked to three of them (I could link to all 5 from the new computer). The other two got an error saying the link was bad or the drive was turned off, neither of which was true. Those two folders were essentially two iTunes library folders. The other 3 folders were only mp3 music files. I spent 90 minutes on the phone with Sonos and their tech eventually said it must be an issue with the Buffalo NAS. I contacted Buffalo and they said it must be a permi

Cannot connect to Wi-Fi

I have a Sonos Play:1, a Sonos One, and a Roam. The first two have been on my Wi-Fi for years now. The Roam is new. Because of the Roam, I switched from the S1 to the S2 app on my iPhone. When I did that, I lost my whole system. I don’t mind so much because all of my playlists are via connected services. My problem is that now I can only get the Roam to connect to my Wi-Fi. I’ve gone through the various articles and asked the Sonos bot. I’ve successfully connected them to my router via ethernet, but cannot connect them to the Wi-Fi from there.  I’ve reset both speakers to factory settings. I’ve rebooted my router (both in the order prescribed in various Sonos support articles). The Wi-Fi connection still fails. At one point, I got my Play:1 to connect to the Wi-Fi, but it would not appear on the system tab of the S2 software. That time, my router software showed all items connected, but the Sonos software said differently.My latest attempts have been all after I have a successful wired

Sonos One Not Updating Software

Hi,I’ve got a Sonos One that I purchased 3-4 years ago (roughly).  So I’ve owned it since new and never had issues updating when new updates were available.  Running Windows 10 with the current Sonos software update.  I have omitted the IP address, but it is there and correct.  The progress bar for the for the software update completes… then displays the following message:  The Sonos controller installer failed to download.  I have turned off Windows Firewall and my anti-virus… still no resolve.  As a side note, my Sonon One is working, but a little quirky at the moment.  I primarily use it for listening to music.  Sometimes it will play requested iHeartRadio stations, and sometimes it will just stay silent after a request.  Same with Pandora stations.  Any help would be appreciated. Associated Product: 192.XXX.X.X---------------------------------Sonos One: KitchenSerial Number: 78-28-CA-13-99-A6:DVersion: 11.1 (build 56076060)Hardware Version: 1.21.1.8-1Series ID: A100IP Address: 192.

iTunes Music Library shows as Imported Playlists after Updating Music Library

Hi all,On my Sonos App both on the Mac and the iPhone I had all of my Artists, Albums, Songs, etc. under Music Library. I ripped a couple of CDs and added those to my iTunes library and then ran the Update Music Library Now function. After I did that I now only have two artists under the Music Library, with the entire iTunes collection is now labeled as ‘Imported Playlists’. How do I get the Artists, Songs, Albums, etc. out of the Imported Playlists and under the Music Library like it was prior?My iTunes library is running on a Synology NAS. All has been working fine until yesterday.Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.Thanks,Ed

BBC Sounds - My Sounds not showing options

Until today when I used the Sonos app on iPhone or iPad if I went into BBC sounds and then Selected “My Sounds” I would get 3 options - Bookmarked, Subscribed or Latest. When I access via phone or tablet now when I click “My Sounds” I just get a list of icon images of some of the episodes of podcasts I have subscribed to. The desktop app on iMac is still working as expected. I have raised this with Auntie so hopefully it will get fixed

SMB3 and Sonos (Again) - Unable to Connect to NAS Music Share

I was hugely pleased that a recent version of Sonos S2 allowed connections to NAS shares using SMB2 or SMB3 and set it all up successfully.I’ve done a pile of updates on my music, so decided to add the share into Sonos again.However this time, with S2 14.6, The Sonos Controller refuses to add the SMB share (configured using Synology DSM 7) under SMB2 or SMB3. It will only work with SMB1 and having NTLMv1 enabled.Has SMB2/SMB3 support been removed again without including it in any release notes?
