Since upgrading to the new Iphone 15 running ios 17.0.2 I cannot use Trueplay - message states Trueplay tuning coming soon!It was fine on my Iphone 12 which was running ios 16.Any thoughts on this being a Sonos or Apple issue and when to expect a solution?
I like to listen to entire albums, and if I enjoy them, I want to save the artist and album name in some directory so that I can recall them when I’m choosing something to play at a later time. No need to create a playlist. Napster does this perfectly but it has so many connection issues that it has become close to worthless. Is there another service that meets these requirements?
I’ve been chasing this S2 app issue for months (years?), with most of my time spent optimizing my Unifi network settings, using SonosNet and not, etc. Lately, the issue has been plaguing my phone but not my ipad, and I just had an Aha moment. I toggled off cellular, and my speakers appeared instantly! I then toggled off cellular access to the Sonos app, and so far the app is running fine. Fingers crossed this is the final hurdle for me. Wondering if anyone else can reproduce this issue. Sure seems like a bug to me. Cheers, Stephen
I have a custom service to connect to a remote subsonic server, per the instructions on subsonic’s websiteThe remote server moved and I need to update the address in the Sonos service. I can’t for the life of me find a way to edit the service, other than deleting it and recreating. Seems absurd there wouldn’t be a way to edit settings, is this hidden somewhere?
My SONOS system is ~old: Play:5; Play:3; SONOS One (Gen 1); SONOS Connect (Gen 1) [connected to Onkyo TX-RZ50 w/Klipsch tower, sub, ceiling, wall speakers; [plus a SONOS Bridge no longer being used]. So I'm pretty "stuck" with using the S1 (Android) Phone App. I've wished for a physical app to use with this principally for QUICK access as a system "mute" (or "pause") for phone calls, doorbell, someone walks into the room, etc. Plus, Volume Up/Down control nice, but not required. I understand IKEA's SYMFONISK remote might be able to do this, though it requires a smart hub. IKEA sells the SYMFONISK remote in a bundle with their DIRIGERA hub. Can anyone tell me whether this IKEA SYMFONISK/DIRIGERA combo will control my SONOS S1 products without the necessity of my also needing to buy any SYMFONISK/SONOS speakers?
Hello, I’m trying to use YouTube Music on my Sonos One (all worked correctly before)It’s asked me to re-authorize app with a 9 digit code. After I enter the code: Access blocked authorisation errorYou can’t sign in from this screen because this app doesn’t comply with Google’s secure browser policy. If this app has a website, you can open a web browser and try signing in from there. Error 403: disallowed_useragentPhone is quite old (Huawei Mate 9) - have tried updating my web browser, still no cigar. YouTube account is not premium. Is this a Sonos issue or to do with my iron age phone? Thanks for your thoughts!
Has anyone noticed a significant difference in battery life when using an Intel Evo laptop for streaming music to their Sonos speakers?
Hey there, fellow tech enthusiasts!I recently got my hands on an Intel Evo laptop, and I'm absolutely loving it so far. However, I've been primarily using it for streaming music to my Sonos speakers, and I can't help but wonder if anyone else has noticed a significant difference in battery life when doing the same.My old laptop used to handle this task quite well without draining the battery too quickly, but with the Evo, I've noticed some variations. It's still much better than my previous non-Evo laptops, but I'm curious about your experiences.Have any of you been using an Intel Evo laptop for streaming music to your Sonos speakers, and have you noticed any noticeable differences in battery life compared to other tasks or laptops you've used before?I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. It could be helpful for others considering an Intel Evo laptop for similar purposes or looking to optimize their setup.Looking forward to your insights and tips! Moderator note: This may be a
I have just added a second Era:100 to my setup, and have configured the new speaker as a stereo pair in the kitchen with an existing Era:100 in the same room. When I play music from another room (vinyl or cd via a Sonos Port attached to a vintage amplifier) the stereo pair work fine, but when I play BBC Sounds in the kitchen, only one speaker (the original, not the newcomer) plays the stream.I have tried going into the EQ settings in the Sonos app and shifting the balance to the right; this confirms there is no stream to that speaker. The same thing happens when I try Sonos Radio. Both BBC Sounds and Sonos Radio were installed as services before I added the second Era to the setup.Libby was also part of the original set up, and this plays to both speakers. I have rebooted each Era, and have also reauthorised, and removed and then re-added the faulty services, but all to no avail (I also removed and re-created the stereo pair several times during the process of trying to get BBC Sounds to
Hello,I have an Android and an iPhone cellphone. My youtube music playlists with 100+ songs are shown with an infinite scroll just fine on Android. On iPhone though it stops loading at a fixed number, like 100. So you can only see the first 100 items of your list on iPhone.
When my Sonos Playlist contains Apple Music Dolby Atmos tracks, those tracks will NOT crossfade. The first track has to end fully before the second is heard but starts 10 secs in (ie. no 10-second fade-up).Crossfade works fine with non-Atmos tracks. Is the Sonos bandwidth just not up to playing two Atmos tracks over one another? (I have a Sonos Arc with sub and surrounds.)
I’m trying to use my Samsung earbuds with my Samsung tv. When I switch the tv on, I’m given the opportunity to connect to the buds. I choose that but then Sonos kicks in and switches the output away from the buds back to the soundbar. So far the only way I can use the earbuds is to unplug sonos and as all wiring is hidden that is far from easy.Am I missing something.Hope someone can tell me of a better way. TIA
