Hello, few days ago i noticed when opening the sonos app that it said it couldnt be used with the system anymore ( arc + 2 sonos one sls as surround ). I updated and now im getting faint white noise over my music/movies etc from the SLs as soon as i start playing something. Playing source seems irrelevant since it does it both from my iphone ( apple music airplay ) and my LG CX. Also after stopping any sound/ source device it still plays the white noise for a few seconds then stops with a small pop ( when they become inactive i suppose ). Tried unplugging , nothing changes. My arc has no white noise. Tried resetting wifi network, no success ( even if wifi is down until they become inactive white noise can still be heard). Any ideas? Going crazy here.
LG 65SM9000PUA tv with Sonos ArcI could not get the sound output to stay on “internal tv speaker.” If I select internal tv speaker it automatically changes back to “HDMI Arc” to play output through the Sonos Arc.I researched the fix on this forum and wanted to share my findings. Both the TV and the Sonos app have settings for autoplay for sound output and both must be turned off. TV settings to adjust:”All settings” then “connection” then “hdmi device settings” then turn off “SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC)”.Sonos app settings to adjust:“System” then select the corresponding device, for me it was “arc” then turn off “tv autoplay”Make sure both tv and sonos autoplay settings are off and you will be able to change from Sonos HDMI arc as sound output to internal tv speakers.Warning: when you change back to HDMI Arc input on the tv, the autoplay setting on the tv will be reactivated. It gets annoying turning off frequently but that’s the work around.Happy listening!

Then I stumble on a site about dns rebinding and that sonos play 1 is compatible for this… My question now is : Can somebody please try I explain me in no technical terms but in plain and simple Englisch, how to find out or check this device if it´s been prepared to rebind with another remote device ,server or something else. My data charts are hitting an all time high, blue tooth s

I control my Sonos system using the iPhone app. Since the latest app update to 13.3.1 last week, the app started overriding the volume setting on my phone. If my iPhone volume for audio playback through the phone speakers is set to the lowest setting / silent, then open the Sonos app, the volume setting for phone playback is automatically reset to the Sonos system volume, even when I return to other apps. Is there a way to turn this off? I’m tired of constantly turning down the volume on my iPhone. (Yes, I have hardware volume controls turned off for the Sonos app.)
My first post, hello all. I have had Sonos for many years and have never had an issue until recently. My Play:1’s are set up in a stereo pair with a 2nd Gen Sub and a few days ago I started having issues with Amazon Music (specifically songs that are Ultra HD only) and have been experiencing choppy audio which makes the music un-listenable.I do not have this issue with my amp (newest gen) or SL ones, it only happens with the Play:1’s. I was on the phone with support for 1-½ hours with no solution - anyone else having this issue? I am using S2 and I am assuming this is an issue with the Ultra HD music file being compatible with the Play:1’s since it doesn’t happen on any of my newer speakers. It also does not happen if I select songs that are not Ultra HD. I do not have any issues with streaming Ultra HD songs directly from the Amazon Music App, only using the Sonos App.(I have removed/reinstalled the Music link in the Sonos app, rebooted my router and modem, rebooted the speakers, did
My roam won;t charge. I’ve had it for 5 months and using the same charger i have used it won’t charge. Have tried a different charger and cable but still won’t charge. The charge light is not coming on. Hadn’t used it for about 5 days and not put on charge unitl today, it was low on battery a few days ago but it should still charge up? Been attached for 9 hours now and nothing
How do I just make my system work on the S1 app without having to update to S2, which can't support my hardware?
I have an older Connect:Amp and a Playbar which both worked on the S1 app previously. I’ve moved recently and I can get the Playbar to work on my S1 controller at my new place but I can’t add my Connect:Amp to the system without receiving a notification that I need to update the app. When I update, it installs the S2 controller, which tells me both products are incompatible and that I should use the S1 controller. When I go back to the S1 controller, it sends me around the same loop again, telling me it can’t add new products without upgrading to S2, which then kindly informs me all over again that my products are both incompatible with S2 and that I really should try S1. Can someone help me break the cycle? I don’t care which app I use, I just want to be able to listen to records again.
Hi everyone. I have an annoying problem with my sonos equipment. we are using 5 sonos 1, 1 center, 1 sub and 1 amp. We are accessing all via two iphones to acces our sonos equipment. One shows all speakers the other is missing some. Why is that ? Both phones have been restarted and are all connected to the same wifi as the entire sonos equipment.
After performing an update to the Sonos app there are no music services available to add, so no music available to play. Before the update the app was connected to my apple music account.I have uninstalled and re-installed the app and have the same issue on other devices. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
When I review my Play 5 speaker Pair in the Sonos App and look at the Line-In section, only Line-In (R) is bolded while (L) is greyed. I assume that means only the R channel is getting fed to both speakers?I’ve made sure the RCA to headphone jack is connected and seated properly in the back of the Play 5.Any other suggestions, do you have a recommended RCA to Line-in cord? EDIT: I discovered the highlighted (R) or (L) shows which speaker has the Line-in physically attached, not that only one channel is connected.
We have 6 Sonos speakers in the house and since day 1 the volume cuts off randomly. It stops for random periods as well. The only way to switch it on is to increase the volume up and down. We were told that it’s because our WiFi is very low, but we’ve now upgraded the all over the house and no issues but the problem is still there. Anyone has the same issue? Amy tips what it could be? Thanks
I have a problem where spotify skips beginning of song or skips a song entirely. Sonos has a message that says it lost connection to spotify. I don’t think it’s a spotify problem as I use spotify on other platforms and never had any problems. The device is the Sonos Five. It is connected via ethernet cable. I have tried multiple cables and even directly into the modem. Diagnostic code: 1357360969
Hello all! I am currently having issues trying to use the Mac OS Sonos S1 controller app with my external HDD that is connected over a USB cord. Strangely, I get this error ever time I try to add a folder directory to my music library from the HDD. I´ve also found that Sonos will pickup my iTunes library and will not denote any local files, such as on my desktop. Additionally, file type seems to be irrelevant, it refuses to accept mp3, FLAC, M4A, or WAV, unless of course they´re in iTunes. So, how would I go about solving this disaster? Error Issue Photo Thank you!!!
