Hi All, One of my Play 5 units (13 months old) lost it's bass - to start with intermittently and then fully. Run diagnostics and contacted CS who advised factory re-set. This did not make any difference so an RMA was raised, I have just parted with just over £100 for a replacement unit. I am still waiting to hear from CS if this unit will be a new one? Now my question is this - Do you feel it is fair that SONOS warranty in the UK is just 12 months? I work for a company that along with other things sells tooling. We have a 3 year warranty now that bring us in line with our other European subsiduaries. Regards.
I have just noticed that I may possibly have a ‘rogue’ device attached to my SONOS network… Looking at the network matrix, across the top I can see 6 zones, the final zone is listed as “Strength to 27:B6:9D:XX:XX:XX undefined” All of the other mac addresses are in the 00:0E:58:XX:XX:XX range which are valid SONOS addresses. This is only connected to one node and the STP State is undefined. Any ideas? Can this be manually disconnected or even banned? Thanks in advance Adrian Long time lurker!
My iTunes song list is about 25,000 songs. After moving my itunes library to another computer I updated music to Sonos. My playlists didn't update and many songs were not showing up in Sonos. I then moved all my music out of iTunes to another folder. Deleted sonos music and proceeded to move all back to iTunes. Created new playlists and set up sonos music library. Everything stayed same and no playlist updated. Still missing same songs on Sonos. Any ideas?
I have tried disconnecting all of my Sonos components for at least 2 minutes. Pandora then played for 1 minute and then the error message came back - "unable to play - the connection to Pandora was lost". This started happening in a similar pattern 2 weeks ago after 1 full year of no problems. Pandora works fine on my desktop and internet browser but not on Sonos now. Any ideas? We love Pandora on our Sonos.
Sonos remote device says: "Unable to send registration to Sonos". It further says: "There was a problem to connect to sonos." I have full internet connection including access to my Gmail account. Please help. Regards Magnus Christensson

I have for example artists named Blue Knights. In my itunes library I show three albums for a total of 21 songs. When I bring up the sonos app on my macbook pro, and load music library, it only show one of these albums that has five songs. I've gone to manage settings, and updated music library now about five times .... still same results. I've gone to music library settings, removed the library, and added it again .. three times ... still same results. I checked the rest of the artists that are listed in Sonos, and it seems to be missing about 12 other artists and songs of those artists that I have in my itunes library. Considering giving up on Sonos and returning play5 and bridge to retailer. Anyone interesting in buying this system from me. Previously I asked a question of why when I shut off my macbook pro the music still plays, and never received a response from sonos. This type of support and product doesn't seem to be worth the monies.
Music, from a docked ipod, plays for approx 5 minutes then stops. After I hit play, music plays again then stops. This happened all day until I gave up. I submitted a diagnostic -- the number is: 2224273. Thanks. - James
I mostly use Sonos for multi-room ambient sound. But I am trying to build a hi fi room that is connected to my Sonos. I would like to play lossless files stored on my computer (computer located in a room remote from the prospective hi fi room), managed by iTunes (perhaps with Amarra or another player add-on) and appreciate that a DAC would likely improve the signal that any ZP 90 (Connect) sends to my integrated amp. So, here's my question: With the Sonos system limited to 16/44 resolution, why bother with the newer and expensive high end DACs that have asynchronous 24/192 USB ports etc... Isn't the ZP 90 a limiting component in the chain from computer to amp? I was also wondering if it would make sense to run a CAT 6 ethernet cable from the router feeding the Bridge near my computer directly to the Connect rather than having the Connect pull in the digital bits "over the air" (or maybe this is where Sonos folks jump in and talk about sonos' "bit perfect" transmission so the real
No other service does this except for the sirius XM. I went down the troubleshooting path for wireless interference, but since no other service is effected, I believe it to be a Sirius XM / Sonos interface problem. Didn't have this problem until about a month ago. I have seen other older posts about this same issue. Has there been any resolve? Please help.
