I have a Sonus sound bar linked to the Arc on the TV.

I have now got a Sonus Amp which needs adding to the system and the amp is going power the rear surround speakers.

A few questions.

What is the best way to wire the sound bar and the Amp? TV only has 1 x ArC connection? (I can get HDMI to both the sound bar and the Amp.)

Once the above is confirmed is it a case of configuring the system on the Amp?

You do not need to wire an Amp to the TV via HDMI if you are using it for surrounds.  Just leave the wiring the way it is, add the Amp to the system, then see this link to add it as surrounds:
