Is it only the 6.5" version of these that can be pivoted

Best answer by Stanley_4

I’m sure they could, since they aren’t here on the Sonos forums you’d have to go to their support and ask them though. Sonos just resells custom configurations of what Sonance makes.

I believe the 8” only has a pivoting woofer and not a pivoting tweeter.

Thanks for the quick reply i recently installed the 8" version as surrounds (replacing one sls) and i cant get them to pivot at all. I saw a youtube video showing how to do it and it seemed easy enough but he used the 6.5" ones.

The instructions state, “To pivot the drivers apply light pressure to the ring around the
outside edge of the woofer cone.” Does this not work?

Yeah i tried that after seeing this video skip to 1.50, he makes it look easy but i feel like im gunna break them when i try it. Maybe once there installed something locks in place and they cant be moved.

Incase anyone else is looking for this info, only the 6.5" version of these have pivotable drivers.
