Refresh/reload library "on this device".
Hello,Is there a way to refresh/reload the library shown in On this device > Tracks ? In my library 4 tracks are shown on the top of the list which shouldn't be there based on the alfabetical order. The metadata had a space in front of the title so i corrected that, in my other musicplayer it's corrected but the Sonos app still shows these on top. I already re-installed the app assuming it would relfresh the library but they’re still there.See this printscreen: The list should start at “We're not Programs... In Mediamonky it's shown alright (slightly rearranged but that's problaby just how this app orders:
Older Pro-Ject turntable with upgrades - sounds good!
I have a 17 year old Pro-Ject Debut SE which I hooked up to a pair of Fives plus a Sub last year. I was very happy with the sound but recently I've made some upgrades to the turntable. Main one being a much better cartridge - the Ortofon MM Blue. It sounds so much better and really makes the Fives and Sub shine. So well worth doing if you love your vinyl. It easily sounds on a par with hi-res streaming now.
Adding Sonos to existing turntable set up
I have an already existing turntable set up of a Fluance RT 82 (which doesn’t have a built in phono preamp) > Phono In of a Sony STR-DH190 amp > speaker wire to passive speakers.The family room is next to my set up is going to have ceiling speakers installed with a Sonos amp (primarily used for TV sound).I’d like to be able to sometimes listen to my wired set up as described through my wired speakers and other times, play my turntable through my sonos amp in the family room.l’ve read there are a few options (using a port, a Connect G2, or a Bluetooth transmitter + Roam), but I’m not sure how all the connections work and in what order and how to change the output to toggle between the hardwired output and the Sonos. I do see on my amp, input 4 has both IN and OUT, but I don’t see how to switch between the speaker terminal out and the input 4 out.And if all of this is possible, any guidance of pros/cons between the port/connect G2/BT+Roam options would be appreciated. update beam to beam gen2 or arc ?
Good morning, I have a beam gen 1 with mini sub and two symfonisk ikea etagere in surround. I would like to exchange the beam gen1 for a sonos beam gen2 or arc to enjoy dolby atmos and truehd, is there much difference on the sound quality between dolby digital 5.1 and dolby digital plus, dolby digital true HD and atmos please? my config 55 inch tv Living room 30m² length 14 meters width 4 meter sofa distance from tv about 3 meters
Line in sporadic audio issues
I have read a few of the questions similar to my issue and tried a number of the recommended fixes, yet I cannot resolve my intermittent audio issues related exclusively to my “Line In” configuration, could use some brain muscle… I have 10 devices linked to my Sonos system along with multiple audio sources from which to hear the sweet sounds of Sonos in pretty much every room of my home. However, no matter where I access my “Line-In” source, I cannot solve this intermittent sound hiccup, going silent from a millisecond to a few seconds at most. Guaranteed to happen on any average 3.5 minute song as an example, and would expect 3-4, maybe more of these quick but painful black outs in this example, but nothing consistent to be clear. Here is the configuration for this source… I create hiking/travel trail review videos as a hobby and spend probably too much time on my PC (Windows 10 OS). Is Sonos port best solution for zone 1?
We have two Sonos ones with a Sonos sub in our kitchen (zone 3) and a pair of smallish Paradigm speakers in our living room with a sub (zone 2) now running off a sonos amp in lieu of Zone 2 on our avr as it is easier to launch from the phone and we use it more--especially the wife. We stream amazon music in those zones more than anything but can use the Sonos amp to play CD’s etc from our Library/HT/main listening area (Zone 1). I am getting an Apple TV for the Library and that can stream amazon music to the AVR and then to the two other zones but it is a bit clunky. I had some help with fishing wires by an electrician who also helps with HT and he said best to get a Sonos port and use the digital coax out to the avr to keep it simple. I suppose I can run everything form the Sonos amp then but still need to trigger the avr and have the correct source chosen. I am confused by the choices and appreciate any comments.
Acquiring wrong product as part of S2 Upgrade program
I ordered an Amp to replace a ZP80 device and received the Upgrade credit when doing so.When I received the Amp, I realised that I should have acquired a Port device so I returned the Amp to Sonos. I would now like to order a Port device.My question is how do I get the Upgrade credit reapplied to the replacementPort device?Thanks for your help.regardsDon
Beam and a Pair of One SL and Airplay
I’ve seen similar talk a few year back but nothing recent. Is it not possible to Airplay a Beam when it is bonded with other speakers? the suggestion seems to be to Group them instead but I’d have no proper surround if I do that. I’ve seen the explanations on the older Playbar etc but my three speakers are a day old and are sold as AirPlay compare ale with no mention of that being disabled when using them bonded.Are their any ways around this at all?
Sonos One SL
Hello, Quick question, SONOS ONE GEN2 and SONOS ONE SL are the same product, but for the microphones. I noted that SONOS BEAM and SONO MOVE use their microphones also for optimizing the sound, and not only for the assistance. I was wondering if the Sonos One Gen2 do the same time (or will do), or well, if its microphones are only for the assistance?? Thank you !
Trueplay and noise test - never ends
Hi, I’m trying to run the trueplay optimisation but when the noise test starts at the very beginning it seems it never ends. Attached the screenshot. Any advice on how to proceed?I already followed the basic instructions: no noise in he room, no other open apps, no Bluetooth devices connected…thanksN
Is it normal to take more than two weeks to process standard replacement under warranty after receipt of faulty product by SONOS?
Support staffs was great in handling my issues regarding blown sonos play:1 and offer replacement under warranty. I promptly shipped my device back to SONOS and was received by them within 3 days as per tracking number provided. Since then, I have not heard back. The email said that i should have received the replacement in a week but its been already more than 2 weeks and i have not got my replacement neither any communications. IS IT NORMAL? When i called support they say the issue has been escalated but havenot been able to provide updates regarding whats going on but just standard reply that we have received the product and the case been escalated. Does anyone else miss the little gearwheel icon to access Room Settings?
Hi,about three years ago, there was this big update, that gave the Sonos App it’s current black/white design. And with this update, a little but really reasonable new feature which had been integrated just a couple of month before, unfortunately disappeared again. Since then i filled in many opinion surveys and emphasized this, but I don’t think anyone’s listening.That new little feature was a little gearwheel icon in that main window where you could see all your rooms, that opened up a PopUp window with a direct shortcut to the “Room Settings” of that certain room.I like the logical structure of the Sonos App but find it somehow unnecessary to need up to 5 clicks to reach the room settings everytime - and I really do feel the need to adjust the Sub or Surround levels almost everytime I change the content on TV.The fact that you took away something that we already had frustrates me most. Interested in Sonos for a new extension project
Hope someone can help. We are creating a new large extension which will incorporate a kitchen /dining area and TV Lounge. We would like our TV connected to a pair of bookshelf or ceiling speakers and would like an additional set of ceiling speakers in the kitchen area. We want the ability to watch TV using ONLY the bookshelf / 1st set of ceiling speakers but if we want to play music when we are having a party/entertaining we want the ability to play the same sound from ALL 4 speakers. What would we need to buy to achieve this with Sonos please?
Bluetooth turntable via Airplay2 to Arc?
Hi, All-Waiting for my Arc/Sub/OneSLs to arrive and am wondering: Instead of a Port or 5, can I connect the turntable via bluetooth to my iPhone, then playback via Airplay to the Arc? Or...connect the turntable to my Samsung TV then HDMI(ARC) it back to the Arc?
No sound from Connect
I am no longer getting sound through my Sonos connect from my turntable. It is connected to Sonos one speakers and was working fine last week. I have looked on the Sonos tips, but no settings have changed since last week so that does not help. My connect still appears as connected in my app. Any suggestions?

Bonjour, C'est laborieux ; pourquoi donc quand après avoir fouillé dans l'arborescence des radios mondiales et sélectionné une radio, par exemple du Japon, l'application me ramène t-elle au menu de départ (cf photo d'écran ci-jointe) ?Ce désagrément existe aussi dans les émissions trouvées sur le Net (cf encore photo d'écran ci-jointe, "Binge Audio" dans "liste") ; étant revenu au menu principal je suis incapable de retrouver sa source.
