Preordered play 1 with alexa, has not been an easy setup. Have eight zones and need to group thru app, a pain. But my more improtant problem is what command to use so alexa plays a pandora radio station on going. It plays one song on the station and stops. Never keeps going. What is the magic word or phrase to keep it playing?
Hi! I'm having a problem with my Sonos play:1. When I group it with my playbar that is connected to my tv the audio sound stops and resuming quickly almost continuously. Is there any delay between the playbar and the Play:1 when they are in group with TV sound? This problem is only when I group the Play:1 with the playbar.
Sonos was not connecting and had to reset its Wi-Fi networking. I didn't know which email account to use, so requested resetting password for my email account and Sonos sent an email. It didn't have the library so I tried to change account by switching to a new account, put in another email and rather than set a new password, asked to reset the password for the second email account. Did that but still no library. Any way to find it?
I've had set up for now for just over a week a playbase and two existing play 1s, before I had the playbase connect the two play 1s as a paired sounded good. After setting up with the playbase the bass throughout the speakers start ok then seams to distort or sound like it's out of sync. Has anyone had the same issues or any ideas what it could be ? Thanks
My sonos system will not play any services. Apple Music, Pandora, or music on my phone. It may start a song, but then will say “connection lost” or “insufficient bandwidth”. If I unplug the sonos router it may work for 5 minutes or so, but then fails again. I ran a Speedtest for my network and I have more than sufficient bandwidth (70 down, 5 up). Please help. The system is rendered useless.
I have a system with a Play 1, Play 5 and Connect Amp. My Sonos Controller app crashes whenever I try to connect to Apple Music. The app works fine with my own library of music that I have on the phone and it also works with internet radio (e.g. TuneIn) on all 3 Sonos products. Has anyone had the same problem, and in that case how did you solve it?
New Sonos customer; system currently consists of 3 Play: 1s all within a strong Wi-fi field. My iphone and iPad apps run perfectly, but the Sonos app on my PC sees from zero to 2 random speakers when I select it. When I set up my first speaker using the PC app, the PC saw it fine, but as soon as I disconnected the cable, it disappeared, although my iPhone never had a problem seeing it. Anyway, I can live without the PC app; just wondering if this is an easy fix someone else has come across.
I have a Sony KD49X307CBU. I have tried connecting optical out to PLAYBAR which works fine for some things like Netflix app but is silent on most others like YouTube app. I even tried connecting the TV Arc to a Flexson HDMI splitter and connected the splitter to Plsybar. With that I got no sound on any app. Does anyone know a solution for my tv?
Sonos app says a speaker appears unplugged or disconnected. Only the sub is recognised, not the playbar. Switching playbar on and off doesn’t help. The playbar still works fine from the TV though. Any suggestions how I can get the app to recognise the playbar again as it’s worked perfectly for 6 months? Thanks
Hi, I’ve just bought a Sonos One with Alexa. Once I’m playing a song through the Sonos app using spot Alexa can control basic functions - pause / volume / next track etc but doesn’t find any music. Perhaps I’m missing something obvious but any suggestions would be really helpful. Thanks.
Hello - I'm experience a random popping noise on my Playbar + two Play 1s while watching TV. It doesn't always happen consistently, but has been occurring quite a bit more frequently over the last week or so. I recently ran an update last week, so maybe that has something to do with it? I just submitted a diagnostics test as well (#8233755). Does anybody have any advice on how best to remedy / improve the situation? Thanks!!
All my iTunes music is stored on my NAS and a copy of my iTunes Music Library.xml is also there. I Sonos indexed this share and at a first look all looks great. The music is there, playlists are there as well. However in some of the playlists some songs are "missing" in a sense that - The filename is shown instead of the title from metadata - cover is missing - trying to play it gives an error that Sonos can't find the file If I manually search these songs in the library I can play them just fine. They are not DRM protected. I cannot find a pattern related to special characters, length of folder etc. I even deleted the XML and exported it from iTunes but that doesn't help. Following two entries of the XML-file. The first one of a track that doesn't "work" and the second, that does.
