Is Sonos having issue with their stock or order processing?I have ordered soundbar for delivery today and still hasn’t got picked by the delivery company, customer service hasn’t got a clue when the item will be packaged and shipped. I was expecting a better service for company. Regards,Luke
Hi 👋🏻 Lots of old posts about this but nothing recent so just checking that my understanding of the process is correct. We have several products that are eligible, our speakers are play:1 and play:5. We cannot at the moment afford to buy new versions of everything and are wondering if we were to choose the upgrade process are the old devices rendered unusable by Sonos? (Software update that stops then being used for example) or can they continue to be used. Also does the discount have to be used on a like for like product? therefore we couldn't upgrade our existing play:1 to a 5 for example?thanks in advance
I am moving into a new home. I would like a speaker out side-not wired in but would like to leave it outside. Inside I would like a speaker in the kitchen, master bath, art room and living room. Sometimes I will want them all playing at the same time and other times just in one area. What are your recommendations. Thanks.

I recently tried to track my order, which I’ve done periodically since making my order. Normally I just see that my item is “backordered.” However, as of yesterday I’m told “Order not found” when trying to track my order. I placed my order on 3/27 with an expected ship date of 4/8. I’ve received 2 emails stating “Not to worry. We’re still on it.” I understand there are shipping delays, but the projected date is now almost a month past due. Now it appears they may have just cancelled my order - no communication, nothing. I may be overreacting but has this happened to anyone else? P.S. I do have an email into support - just covering all my bases…
Does anyone know any website apart from eBay and other marketplaces to buy old discontinued Sonos Play-1. I already have a Play-1 and recently bought a Beam 2. I would like to pair the existing Play-1 with the Beam to setup surround speakers. Since the old Play-1 and One SL can’t be paired I’m looking to buy the old Play-1. Upgrading to two One SLs would be expensive for me. Any leads on this is much appreciated. Even if someone is willing to sell, happy to make an offer.
Whats going on with the Horrible customer service ??I placed an order the other day for the Ray Speaker and it got delivered to the wrong address.I have called in 6 times to get this fixed and have received the run around. I even sent an email to the CEO and still no response. I just called in today at 9:30 PST and the Sales Department is Closed !!! What has Happened to SONOS and their Wonderful Tech and Sales Support. This is Ridiculous. I cant even begin to tell you how “Frustrating” this is !!!!
I am building a new home. I am not looking for a high end theater set up. Attached is my floor plan. I plan to use a soundbar, sub-woofer, and 2 ceiling speakers for TV viewing. Note TV is in the corner. I would use two ceiling speakers which are in marked in red with an amp. It is my understanding the ceiling speakers should be behind the seating area. Does that seem accurate? My second option would be to add two more speakers (blue) and play only music through the whole room with 4 speakers. The room measures 26’8” x 20’6”. Can I have the blue speakers off for the TV and all 4 on for music. Can I accomplish this with one amp? Thanks.
I live in an apartment that has 2 built in ceiling speakers in the living room that are hard-wired to a sonos connect amp (which is in the closet where the wiring for the ceiling speakers runs to). I also have a 3rd party Denon receiver powering 2 Klipsch tower speakers (both setup in my living room). My Denon receiver is connected to my TV, so the sound output from the tv currently goes through my Klipsch speakers. My goal is to connect my Denon receiver/Klipsch speakers to the existing sonos system and use the ceiling speakers (which are already connected sonos) as surround sound. From what I’ve read online, it sounds like I may be able to accomplish that by connecting a Sonos Port to my Denon receiver in the living room. If I buy the Sonos Port and connect it to the receiver in my living room, will I be able to use both my Klipsch speakers + ceiling speakers at the same time? My Denon receiver is connected to my TV via optical cord, so if I connect a Sonos Port to my Denon receive
A little background information. My current setup is a sonos arc, sonos gen 3 sub, sonos amp powering speakercraft Crs6 roof speakers. I have sonos in ceiling speakers (purchased before I bought the house the setup is in) and found I have a mounting depth issue for the ceiling speakers. The sonos ceiling speakers need 4.75” depth and I have 4”. I am very handy with wood working and could make trim rings to drop down the ceiling speakers 3/4” but I guess my question is: is it even worth the trouble? Are the sonos in Ceiling speakers going to be worth it for the true play tuning or should I just get a different high end lower profile roof speaker?
I first shared this obsessive chart I made for my own amusement on the Sonos subreddit, and then discovered tonight it was actually conceptually covered already by @AjTrek1’s helpful and extremely thorough speaker comparison charts found here. But I’ll post mine here too in case some still find it useful or it has some unique info. Corrections and suggestions are welcome.(After I posted it on the Sonos subreddit, another contributor jumped in and provided many useful notes, as well as future product predictions. Those parts are not mine and while the notes sound correct, I haven’t verified them, and of course the speculative parts aren’t verifiable at all.)Needless to say this is miles from official, but I believe it’s accurate.Anyhoo, here it is: Sonos Compatibility and Features ChartCheers,Ivan.
Hi, I'm looking to join to Sonos ecosystem and have found 2 offers and am wondering which is better. Option 1: 2 play 1s and a play 3 Option 2: 2 play 5s (gen 1)Mostly will be used for listening to music (techno and rap) and also for watching tv.From what I've read the play 5 gen 1s are significantly worse than the gen 2s and any comparisons I can find between 2 play 1s and play 5 (gen 1) say the plays are better due to the stereo pair. But if I had a pair of play 5 (gen 1) that would negate this point so I'm not sure which option I should choose.Thanks.
I currently have one play5 in my living room for listening to music. I would like more room filling music, so I would like to get a pair of in-ceiling sonance speakers with an amp.I enjoy the play5 and would like to keep it in the same room with the sonance. Would that work well?if I could add another play5, I would, but do not have the space. Also thought about the ikea symphonix picture frames, but my wife thinks they are ugly. 😂I really just want more even sound through the living space which is open to the kitchen, foyer and dining room too. I don’t necessarily want full sound in the adjacent rooms, just be able to hear it as background. There is a TV in the living room, but it’s not really the TV used for watching movies, gaming, ect. We already have a gameroom TV with a full surround arc setup with sub that is fantastic. Don’t need another one.Any thoughts or alternatives welcome.
