I have two different rooms set up in the Sonos app (Living Room and Game Room). I see this reflected in the Google Home app. However, whenever I ask google to do anything for the Game Room (e.g. “Play music in Game Room”, “Set Game Room sonos volume to 30%”, etc.) it always executes for the living room.Is there a way to get the assistant to understand the different rooms?
I bought a Sonos Symfonisk. Completed set up, and everything works. Can get music to play through it. However, I try to to add a voice service (google assistant) and run into a problem. I’m doing this on my phone. I click add voice assistant, select google, and log in. And ever time it tells me… “Register my speakers. You need to link speakers to your y...@gmail.com Sonos account before you can add this skill. Go to More>Settings>Account Settings in the Sonos App (if you don’t see Sonos Account your Sonos system needs updating).” There is an option to go to the Sonos App, and when I do it tells me my Sonos App needs updating, and to tap the button below to update. When I do, it takes me to the same Google Play page I downloaded it from moments ago, and there are no updates. I go into the Sonos app (S2) Settings > System > System updates > check for updates : and it says there are no updates required. No matter what, it always says i need to register t
I use my Sonos as the default speaker with my Google Nest. Music can be controlled on the Sonos by the Google Nest, no issues. However, the Google Nest feature ‘Lower volume when listening” does not work with my Sonos. This is very annoying as I have to shout Google commands when music is playing on my Sonos speakers. Ive tried re-lnking my Sonos speakers with Google Home, I’ve update the Sonos software to the latest. Is there a fix for this ?
Losing hours and patience here :-) Google assistant cannot be added to my sonos app to work with Roam. Got support and they told to go online and change the country to US. I did, rebooted the whole thing, uninstalled the app and put it back up again. Nothing happen, still get the same “Not available in your country message”. Any tips before I throw it out a window or write a nasty take down piece?

Hi, i have a google home in my kitchen. When a song is playing and I ask it to be added to my library, it adds it. When I try to do the same when music is playing through my beam, google says that it is not able to do add the song to my library. I am the only user set up on the beam. Does anyone know why this might be? Thank you
With my Beam connected to my Sony Bravia A8 I have potentially 3 Google Assistant devices available to fulfill my requests. Which should I enable or disable (if any) and which gives me the most control over the TV (if any)given that the Sony is also an Android device with Google Assistant built in, the Beam is plugged directly into it using eARC/HDMI and has a direct connection for controlling it, and for good measure the Google mini in the kitchen can also hear my commands. Thanks for any advice you can give!
Last night I briefly watched a music special on TV that featured musicians playing acoustic versions of their hits live from home due to social isolation. I liked the first 3 numbers, so for each I asked the Google Home speaker next to me to play that title from Deezer (my currently-subscribed music streaming service). No problem, it found and played all 3. Later I asked GA on my Sonos One stereo pair to play those same numbers. No go, it found 2 of the 3 artist names, but not those specific titles for any of them. I went into the Sonos app on my phone and searched for each of the 3 artists. Sonos found each of them under Deezer. Then I looked at their “Top Hits”. Sure enough, there were all 3 selections, and the Sonos app played all 3 just fine from Deezer. I verified again that GA on the Sonos One can’t find these titles, and that Google Home can. So what’s going on here?
On my Sonos One Gen2, when I set an alarm, google says it is setting the alarm for the time I specified. Then I ask her what time it is set for, and the answer is 3 hours later than I said, and snoozed to the correct time that I requested for the alarm. Google answers the time and time zone queries correctly. I can find no setting to correct this. Thanks for the help.
Hi all,I have a Sonos Amp and a Sonos Arc and want to control them with a a Google Hub Max which I thought would be simple but it seems not to be.Firstly, the Sonos app only lets me add voice control to the arc (I know the amp doesn’t have that functionality built in). However I don’t want the arc to have voice control because it’s in a very close room to the amp and the Google. Does anyone know if it’s possible to set things up in this way? I tried setting up the arc with voice control and then removing it - no luck. Even when I have both the arc and the Google using voice I can’t get the Google to control the amp. In addition when I try and speak to the Google the amp also answers from the other room with something completely different when I though they should be sync’d in some way.All rather frustrating in a first world way and makes me think it’s just not with nothing with Google/Sonos integration as it seems buggy and not a great experience. Thanks all.
Hello sonosYou keep "solving" all these threads about multiple streams started from Google/Alexa by pointing the finger to google/amazon. Sonos is a big company and you use voice control as a major selling point as you do with multiple room playback. This is very disappointing! Are you working on a solution?(I use spotify premium)
Explain to me like I’m an idiot why Google Assistant isn’t available in certain countries. Why can’t it just be “switched on”. I live in Japan. I get why maybe Japanese language support isn’t ready but for those of us that are happy to communicate in English, why can’t we have the option?

Yesterday i completed the integration with Google Home and it works well but i can't find a way to use to Sonos app to play music to the Google Home speakers i have(GH Max and mini). Did I miss something in the setup process or is the feature to play music to GH speakers from the Sonos app not there?
