Every app I have tried to play podcasts from through Sonos Immediately goes back to 1x speed once connected to my Sonos speakers. I don’t want to have to return my Sonos if I don’t have to, Is there any solution for this? I am currently using my $2k+ sound system only half the time because I can’t listen to podcasts or Audible at faster than 1x speed. This is not just a nice to have feature, but something one would assume the system can do before buying.
Sonos S1 Controller hangs at startup on my Mac. When I pick an album (Amazon music that I own), one of my Albums (linked to iTunes library), Spotify, or even Spotify’s “Made for Me” Daily Mix lists … Sonos only plays the first item over and over, never going to next. This is even though I pick “Play Now”. has been going on for a few weeks (or longer?). The only reliable music source I now have is Tune-in to a radio station, sadly.
Hello everyone, I am having an issue that I believe is related to an iphone. My wife's iphone 8 was working fine with our Sonos network until it decided to not work. The app and said there were no Sonos items on the network. At that point I uninstalled the app, restarted the phone, restarted the router, power cycled speakers, etc.So now we cant even login in the app on one of our devices because it cant see any Sonos devices on the network.My iphone 8 plus is still able to connect, and my daughters iphone 7 both connect fine, we can see all the speaks, connect and link them together in a group.All iphones are running ios 14.3, and the Sonos apps have all been updated to current. The ios sonos app we are using is Sonos 12.2.2the router is a Google Nest mesh network. The Google Home app is version 2.32.11 no idea about hardware version or whatnot. Anyone have a problem aimilar to this?
have an Amazon Australia Prime 30 day trial. Have selected Amazon music in Sonos app and authorised the account. Service appears but when select music ie a station it says I need to start a trial with Amazon UK. I do have an Amazon UK account but no prime membership. is there a setting somewhere with Amazon that I need to change?
Out of a sudden no Genres, Titles etc. anymore. On Win 10 PC as well as on iPad. The NAS is still seen by my Win 10 PC and a playlist plays.Seems like the whole index is lost. No idea why, as I had changed nothing, no tracks added or deleted, no nothing. Also in the PC controller I can’t select a new indexing, as it is greyed out.Solution: deinstalled S2 completely, downloaded and installed it again, as admin and allowing firewall configuration (which I most probably had done the last time before also). Then I was allowed to index and after this was finished, Tataaa! Works. Question is for how long, because a few weeks ago I probably went through this already, as downloaded S2 install exe’s date tells me. This time I made a record of this.
I am using a 27” iMac. It’s a nearly 10 year old screen, but it has plenty of pixels. So it seems unreasonable that some of the text on the desktop controller is too small / indistinct to read, and can’t be enlarged.As I get older, use glasses etc, I can still read the song titles, but I find the artist names underneath are completely illegible. It doesn’t help that they are presented as grey on black. This is particularly annoying when listening to playlists.Could we get an option to increase text size? At the moment if I want to see who is playing I have to right click on Info and Options (where the text is still pretty small, but not tiny, and it’s a lighter colour text so clearer.I’ve been using Sonos since it first came out. Not everyone can be young and with 20/20 vision!Thanks for listeningNigel Thomas
I have a Sonos mixed estate one and two every time there is a change upgrade or even a change to terms and conditions my Sonos one kit stops working requiring a lengthy and helpful call to their helpdesk it takes a long time to sort this out every time please can the tech team sort something out as soon as possible thank you?
I want to search from my music library for all songs lets say from 1980s.I am sure you are all familiar with the below / attached screen shot.I am aiming to decide which album to play based on the year. So it would list something like 1988, 1989, 1990 etc.I would then like to be able to drill down on Year » Year date» Album Artist » Album or something similar to that just like you can currently drill down on Genre » Genre type » Album Artist » Album.Which would allow me to pick an artist/ album from the year I selected. Are there any options available other than restructuring my whole library structure to create sub folders based on year and then using the Folder drill down?If not, how can I direct this feature towards Sonos Dev team / Product Owner to consider for a future release?
Hello any HK Sonos fan here? 🙋🏻Any idea on supporting more HK local music service Moov/Joox on Sonos? Is there anyway we can send feedback to the Sonos team?A bit frustrated that some of the most common local music service cannot be found in the app. Though Sonos has amazing sound and user experience.
I have devices in several rooms and control everything from my iPad. If I am listening, for example to music or a podcast, I have full screen display however if I change listening rooms the display invariably drops down to a narrow band at the bottom of my screen which I have to tap to restore full screen display. Although not a great problem, I do find it annoying particularly if I change rooms several times during listening.I contacted Sonos support and was told that this is the way the app is designed to operate!!! I replied simply , “Why as it’s very annoying?” “What is the reason for the app being designed to do this?” The only response I have received since are two customer satisfaction emails! Not very satisfactory to say the least.Anyone else find this frustrating?
the play menu and the library should show the length of the items listed. this would greatly assist in selecting items, e.g. different versions of the same songALSO - personally I am very frustrated with having to use my phone to setup the systems. i have a dedicated desktop for my music and you have made it almost defunct :(
Looks the names of my zones have been changed somehow in my sonos profile and it is causing some rooms to play music and one of my rooms I can’t get music to play. I looked at my setup and it looks like the names are different from what was originally set up I need to redo my configuration and start from scratch. What is the best way to do that?
I’ll be setting up my WD My Cloud PR2100 this weekend. I’ve transfered all my files from my old-n-slow Mac to an external hard drive. I have a new laptop that I’ll be setting up this weekend. So my question is after I set up the Nas will I be able to transfer my music & photos over to Nas using the external hard drive? Or do I need to transfer them from ex hard drive to laptop first? And how does Plex come into play with the transfer?
The transfer from Google Play Music to You Tube Music has been pretty unsatisfactory, particularly as far as user’s own uploaded libraries are concerned. Until a few days ago under Library/Albums just a few albums used to show up under the Uploads heading (in my case only as far as the A’s). Today, under Library/Albums, the Uploads tab seems to have disappeared completely which makes finding stuff very problematic.What is going on?
