I have 4 Sonos One SL speakers in my house. For the previous 11 months, everything has worked great. Starting last month we can only see all the speakers on my android phone and the app on my Imac. My wife is not able to see or control any of the speakers on her android phone. We have uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app on her phone. I have unplugged and restarted all of the speakers. Any ideas?
Having serious trouble with PS4 audio delay. Philips Hue Tv with Sonos Beam and two One surround speakers. Virgin TV box is fine - it connects to TV via HDMI and is always in syncPS4 is only in sync if it runs PCM and that’s only just, on Dolby its miles off with the picture ahead of the sound so no way of fixing it.AV amp has no issues syncing the two so the issue is a Sonos one… at this point in time having tried every combination of cables, optical and HDMI, it is not possible to have Dolby out of my PS4 and it be in sync, which is extremely annoying as I watch Prime/ Netflix and Disney+ through the PS4 and Game quite a bit. Right now I would like to send it all back but I rather stupidly believed the hype and thought it would actually work so threw the boxes away.Anyone want £790 of stereo PCM speakers? Not me… How do I get a refund - this is junk.
I have an Arc set up and running, but can’t get my Music Library working. I run Apple’s Music app (the one that replaced iTunes) v184.108.40.206 on a Mac Mini running Catalina. I have a local music collection of approx 18,000 songs stored on an external HD. I go to the Sonos App on my Mac Mini.I go to Music Library settings.I add the folder. Path shows as /Volumes/4TB drive/Music Music Library appears in my list of sources, but contains no music. What am I doing wrong?
Hello,I recently bought a Sonos Beam and two Sonos ones as surround speakers. The beam is connected to my Sony Bravia ATV3 via the ARC HDMI port and my Fetch TV is connected via HDMI port 2 If I play YouTube or Netflix straight from Sony TV, I get surround sound via the Sonos. However, if I try to play the same content now via the Fetch TV device, the content only plays on the beam speaker. There is no surround sound from the Sonos Ones. The Fetch box has dolby 5.1 enabled on its audio settings but doesn't play its content via the TV to sonos in surround.I have also tried to get the Sonos beam connected via the optical connection to the TV but that didn't make any difference. I was told that the HDMI via ARC offers the best sound for the beam /Sonos One.Do you have some advice on how to the Fetch TV box working in surround sound?
I emailed Sonos with details of an error at the weekend - got a message promising a reply within 24 hours but have heard nothing - so though I would try here. In the past few week Spotify (Premium Family members) has become completely redundant on our Sonos system. None of us are able to play any Spotify tracks on Sonos - either from the Spotify app or from the Sonos Controller app. We have been through all of the suggestions (rebooting, removing Sonos, removing Spotify, checking Wi-Fi connection etc) and nothing has fixed it. We can stream from our Music Library to all devices (so we assume wi-fi is working fine ) and we can stream internet radio stations (so we assume Sonos has internet connection). I have submitted support diagnostics reference 1445143747. Any suggestions much appreciated
Have been very happy with my Sonos system but yesterday it would not stream SiriusXM- this has never been a problem before. I have rebooted routers. I made sure all current updates were installed . I deleted SiriusXM and reinstalled with a new password. Nothing has helped. When I go to the SiriusXM menus all I get is not selections are available’. Sonos status page seems to indicate that all the services are functioning properly. Have no difficulty streaming the SiriusXM directly from the Sirius site through my computer. Thanks for any insight / help.
I been so pissed it took over a year for me to ask what the f,.ck!! Music library worked fine super easy open Sonos app showed my music I could play from iPhone and iPad. Then Sonos does an update and it just disappears no icon nothing in settings there’s nowhere says anything about my music library. So my $2000 speakers have been junk for over a year. Not sure what Sonos was thinking but I use to think they were great now I tell everyone DO NOT BUY SONOS! Almost everyone I know has iPhone and would be so mad if they bought a not cheap wireless speaker that won’t play there music library. Does anybody know how to play music from your library on iPhone or iPad? I tried the update library Sonos says to do says I don’t have one or ask for a file name and there is no file name just my music on my phone and iPad. Thanks anybody that can help or tell me if I should trash these cause I’m done not being able to play all the music I have and paid for song by song from apple.
Subject line says it all - it has been happening intermittently since I removed my obsolete Sonos Bridge, and recently has become more frequent and frustrating. The media library is on a WD MyCloud NAS hardwired into the home network. The MyCloud DLNA Media Server is ON - but seems to ‘see’ way more attached Sonos media players than I actually have....One of the Sonos speakers (Sub) is hardwired into the network ( did this to fix the problem whereby the system was occasionally losing rooms / speakers): the other speakers are connected via wifi. DHCP is dynamic. I tried fixing this by rebooting the wireless hub (SmartRG SR505N) with no luck this time. The NAS is up and running fine: I can connect to it from my iMac, and the library is there. I will happily submit diagnostics if you tell me what to do.I used to love this system, but it is getting harder to love …… It should not be this hard …..
Hey guys, how are you? Please tell me that there is a solution for Audio delayed, on my SONOS BEAM + TCL 50DP648.The audio is always behind the picture. This is my first SONOS, I liked it a lot, I don't want to return it.But the delayed audio problem bothers me a lot. researching here and there, I arrived at this item to solve. Can you tell me if this will really solve it?I found this item: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Proster-Digital-Converter-Dolby-AC3-Bi-directional/dp/B07JBWW5PB/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=PROZOR+Digital+Coaxial+to+Optical+SPDIF+Toslink+Converter+Support+DTS%2FDolby-AC3+192KHz+Bi-directional+Digital+Audio+Converter+with+Optical+Cable&qid=1599044108&sr=8-1 hope I can solve it. Thanks so much!
For the love, can somebody please help me figure this out. I recently upgraded to the S2 platform, and the system is practically unusable. I have ATT Fiber and an Netgear Nighthawk X10 router. Everything is downstairs with the speakers within 30 feet of the router. The S1 platform with the bridge worked great. It happens with all music sources: Spotify, Sonos Radio, Amazon Music, etc
We use our three Sonos systems in our restaurant and during shifts it keeps cutting out or failing to connect. We have tried resetting the Sonos and we still have the same issue, it has been going on for months and hasnt connexted smoothly in months. There are mutiple phones connect to the system as all the staff members have the app but only, one person yses the app at a time. Why does this issue keep happening and is there anyway to solve this issue?
For the last two days I have been unable to access SiriusXM on my iPhone. It also happened a few days ago for most of the day but it came back up. I found topics covering with the same issue from a year or more ago but nothing current. I tried the solutions that were suggested in these historical topics but none worked. It also happened a few days ago for most of the day but it came back up the following day. The SONOS status shows that SiriusXM is working but not for me.Anyone else having this issue currently and any suggestions as to a solution? Thank you.
Hi all,I have been using Sonos for many years and used to have my generic NAS drive as music library. Now we have a Brennan B2, so I removed the old music library and followed the steps set out by Brennan to connect the B2 as my new music library. However, after selecting the music folder through the “Add Shared Music Folder” process on the Sonos app, I get an error message. “Sonos was unable to add the music folder”Folder name, login and password are correct (copied from Brennan’s website). I can connect to the Brennan B2 on my Win 10 laptop, so I know the NAS connection on the B2 works.Neither the Sonos app nor the Sonos program on Windows will let me connect the B2 as a music library.I would be grateful if anyone had a suggestion how I can get the two connected.
I purchased an Orbi to enhance the speed of my internet. I am trying to chance the internet from the Verizon access to the Orbi access on the Sonos but it is not working. Going thru all the steps first with just update router; didn’t work, then took Sonos to the Verizon box and cable with an Ethernet cable and it’s not working either. Thank you.
Ok, I’m a music professional and I loved my Sonos system until this new controller app came along and now the speakers randomly switch on and off. I have tried to trouble shoot this from every angle but I’m stumped. It is a basic expectation that this stuff all just works...as it has, brilliantly, for years. But now for whatever reason, things switch on and off, or I can’t connect through Airplay and my family is begging me to go back to hard wired speakers so I stop cursing. Anyone else having “issues” since switching to the new Sonos controller app? Thanks.
I cannot connect S2 to my apple music account on the iOS beta. Not working on my iPhone 11 Pro or iPad. Will switch to music app and make sure I am logged in to Apple music. Then I either get a we’re having a problem error in apple music or get an error in sonos saying I need to update to the newest music app.
Just changed to a new router and two of my SONOS Move can’t find the new network. On the instructions it shows: “Conncet to ‘SONOS’ Wi-FI , then return to the app”But the network doesn’t show the ‘SONOS Wi-Fi’Since Move cannot be connect to ethernet cable, so I can’t try the alternative way eirher.I also tried to factory reset the two Move and reinstalling the app, but both didn’t work. Please help:)
Hey, Anyone having issues with streaming Apple Music on Sonos? I have a playerbar; (2) Sonos ones and a sub. Amazon music plays without any problems only Apple Music. If I play Apple Music directly from my iphone speakers not connected to Sonos it plays fine. I’m not sure what the issue would be.
Brand new to the Sonos world and very excited to be here! But having a bit of difficulty… My new Sonos Amp is driving three sets of traditional (not sonos, airplay etc) in-ceiling speakers, each set with its own volume control. They are connected to a Russound zone controller that sits right next to the Amp. Pretty straightforward; well aware of the sound cutoff at high volume from previous setups. Airplay was working fine at first. The Amp shows up on my phone as an Airplay option, and I can select it and on the phone. Music… magic! But a couple of days later… the song now shows progress on my phone as if it’s playing - but there’s no sound from the speakers. When I go to the Amp and tap the volume up/down buttons, the ticking sound comes through the speakers very clearly (and gets louder/quieter), so the wiring connection is fine. Here's the best part - it works fine with my wife’s iPhone. Same exact iPhone 11. Obviously an AirPlay2 issue. I’m now looking for tips on how to get
