Sonos system keeps disconnecting daily

I have a pair of Sonos One speakers and a third One by itself.  For some unknown reason, they keep not being recognized over an over again.  I never had this problem and now I go through all the steps to fix it, it finds my system and all works fine… until the next day I try again and it is like groundhog day all over again.The weirdest part is that my speakers will still play whatever music I had on last time; I just cannot access the system from the phone app to control it.Please help!Thanks.Joshua

Can sonos ikea Symfonisk use together with sonos one sl at the same time?  I have Sonos arc and sub mini as well.  I can only group sonos arc, sub mini and sonos one sl but can’t add symfonisk as well.Any way I can group all these together?

Sound Bar for TV

Hi, I currently own the Sonos Play 1 speakers but now want to add a sound bar that will tie in with them.  I’m very limited for space and would prefer the absolute least amount of cables for connecting my sound bar to the tv.  Can anyone recommend the easiet/cleanest sound bar option that I can connect to the rest of my system.  Looking to mount it on the wall right under the TV.thanks for your help.

Installed beam soundbar. Attempted to set truplay. No noise present iPhone microphone clean truplay indicates noise is present and to attempt setup later?

When i attempt to initiate truplay to see beam audio it fails indicating that there is miscellaneous noise is area. There’s no noise and i have cleaned iPhone mic. Options?

Port / Turntable Help!

Hi !I just received a new Port to work with my Pro-Ject turntable ( purchased at Sonos...)All seems well, easy to set up and recognized. Line-in is all set up in my Sonos Input Services. Lights are all white on my Port….. I even checked all my System Preferences, and it all seems in-line.The hitch, there is no sound. It looks like it is playing in all rooms, etc…..HELP!!Thx, Jim

HELP!…HD Fury Arcana + Sonos Arc = inconsistent TV audio

Set-Up: Panasonic GZ1000, Sonos Arc, Arcana, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Sony Blu-Ray UBP-700 I recently (and frankly, stupidly) bought an Arcana to pass through audio to my Sonos Arc in an effort to get full access to DTS capabilities. I was originally using a HDMI splitter for blu-ray, PS5 and Nintendo. But the Arcana didn’t like that. So now I have PS5 and Nintendo going straight to TV and Blu-ray passing through Arcana. (Bye-bye PS5 DTS) One of the benefits (loosely termed) of the Arcana is that it can relay TV sound through the port back to the Sonos. This worked in theory…but not consistently. Sometimes no audio. Sometimes only worked once i loaded up native Netflix app. If I go straight to PS5, no audio. But if I reset TV, load up Netflix, then switch to PS5 channel, I get audio. Clearly a handshake issue between the TV and the Sonos through the Arcana.  Essentially meaning I had to remove TV audio from the situation completely, and now I have TV audio going straight to the Sonos and

sonos one rear speakers placement

Hi, I recently finished my basement and it’s a little odd shaped but mostly rectangular. I have my tv and Arc + subwoofer installed and I can’t decide the best location for the speakers so I can run outlets for them. Which option seems better, option A or option B. Both options will be close to the ceiling away from the little kids, hence why I didn’t consider the stands.

Sonos cannot find music on my PC

Sonos cannot find music on my PC.  It is looking for //"laptopname"/Music.  I don't have Music in my root directory.  I see I have my Music directory under Desktop.  My music is in the standard Music directory for Windows 11.  How do I fix this? This used to work.  I do not have iTunes and am not interested in getting it.

sonos sub not playing

I have a Sonos play bar 2 x Sonos one. And a Sonos sub. The sub is showing as connected but not playing. I have been through several resets. I have removed all components and reinstalled. I have reset the wifi. Still no luck  Can anyone help please

Feintech VAX04101A - Auto Switchin Source

Hi Allwondering if anybody else has the same issue with the Feintech VAX04101A? i have just got the full Arc HT setup and from the off included the VAX04101A as my 2017 LG OLED cannot support Dolby True HD. It works great in that I get full Atmos, however I cannot get auto switching if I puts to work. I have a ATV 4K and Sky Q currently and even though I have the remote to switch inputs on the VAX04101A, it’s a little bit annoying.  Has anybody else managed to get auto switching to work when turning on different I put devices?the Manual does say it may not work as expected, but I feel like it should be able to do this if all devices have CEC enabled?!Thanks All!

Surround Sound from Beam (Gen 2) with ATMOS

Hi all, just received and setup Beam Gen 2 with my SONY - BRAVIA KD43XH9196BU TV. Everything is setup correctly, HDMI via eARC port. When playing ATMOS content from Netflix or other apps, I’m also seeing ATMOS appear on the Sonos app when playing this content. The sound is very impressive from the front perspective, it’s wide and detailed. However, I don’t get a sense of any virtual sound from around me, side or to the back. Just curious to know what I should be expecting from a virtual surround sound perspective. The website claims “Dolby Atmos maps sounds in space for a 3D effect so you experience planes as if they're flying overhead, hear footsteps moving across the room, and feel the score surround you.” However, I don’t feel like I experience any of that, just very good quality sound from the front only.CheersShane

music and tv - one sub

I have a room which is mainly used for music with 2 ‘fives’ and a sub. I have recently added a beam for the occasional use TV.I don’t want to use the five’s as surround, so keeping the music part separate. Am I better linking the sub to the beam and joining the two ‘groups’ when playing music, or leaving the sub with the five’s and just have the beam for tv use only?benefits / drawbacks of either option? thanks!

Please recommend me a solution to this problem

Hi all,New owner of Sonos Beam Gen 2 and loving it.  However I have a small problem and would like suggestions on the best way to solve it.I have a Media Player connected via HDMI to my Sony X90J TV and the Sonos via the eARC Port.  And, all works just fine.My problem is that selecting eARC for an output on the TV negates the digial (toslink) output on the TV meaning I now have no where to connect my headphones.So what is the solution, without costing an arm and a leg.  Looked at the Orei HDA-912 but that does not output via the digital or analog outputs with passthrough selected. HDA-927 looks like it might be OK so I don’t have to enable eARC on the TV.  But the equivalent FeinTech VAX01202 suggests it does not work with Sonos.Any other solutions greatly appreciated.TIA

Beam to Mac studio

Hello,Beam (gen 2) + two Play One connected to Mac Studio via HDMI.Problem is that there is a lag in the sound when viewing Youtube, would take few mins to hear the sound, also viewing movies the sound is not in sync.would appreciate any suggestions, thanksCheers

Samsung help

All…I just purchased a Samsung QN85B QLED 75” tv. I have an Arc with One surrounds and a sub. When they are the only thing connected to the TV via HDMI to the ARC port, it works perfectly. If I try to connect my DirecTv box or my PlayStation 4, it drops my SONOS system out and goes to TV speakers. This is incredibly frustrating and SAMSUNG has been 0 help. Anybody have any words of wisdom??

Popping Gen 2 sub

I’ve been having this issue quite a bit lately only on movies. EQ bass level is at 6 and sub audio level is a 7. Any idea what causes the popping?

Issues with Bitdefender not allowing access to music

We are not able to get music files to connect, I think it has something to do with bitdefender, but so far nothing I have found online is helping.  This is on a Windows 10 system.

I have a new pro jet turntable and I thought I could use it wirelessly with my sonos system. Apparently not.Can I get a second port and use it that way? I don't want the TT where My Rack of equipment is.O r should I purchase a Victroia TT?Thanks Dean

sonos roam not connecting

H all…i have had a sonos roam as part of my system for 2 years now, and suddenly it is no longer connecting to my system. I have gone through all the steps to get it set up, and it keeps ending with the same result, not able to connect at this time. There are no app updates to do and i have rebooted my modem several times. All my other speakers and subs are working just fine. Thoughts? Tips? Thanks so much!

Sonos Sub Stopped Working - Not Connected

Looking for help with my Sonos Sub.  We have a beam/sub combo for our home theater setup.  These have been working fine for a couple years.  Recently the sub just stopped working. Nothing changed except some back  end network changes. I’ve completed removed the sub from our network, did a hard reset (holding the button while powering on) and re-added to our network after resetting all network devices.   The sub is found but the app is not able to connect it to our beam. It just sits in the app saying “Not Connected” and we aren’t able to connect it.Any help that can be given?

connect ARC + ONE SL's volume control with my LG TV

i have the SONOS ARC and have purchased a pair of SONOS ONE SL’s  , my problem is i can only control the volume on the combined speakers with the SONOS App on my phone and my LG remote control will only control the ARC volume on it’s own , i have seen previous posts to access the APP and enter ‘ Separate Stereo Pair ‘ and other but the SONOS app i have downloaded VIA ‘the play store’ does not have any of these features , which seem to be from an older app?any help appreciated

Beam gen 5.1 vs amp 4.1

After some opinions.  I currently have lounge set up with Beam gen 1 - sub gen 2 - 2x One SL’s for rears.  I have been gifted 2 x sonance ceiling speakers.  I will buy the amp to drive these but not sure where to go with it.    Shall a bond the amp to the beam and use the ceiling speakers as rears or lose the beam and use the amp and ceilings as fronts then bond the  sub and one SLs as rears creating a 4.1 system with phantom front.

sonos beam gen 2 loud pop, then change in tone of sound like bass is missing.

Wife and I were watching TV when suddenly an extremely loud electrical sounding zap emanated from the beam. Immediately afterwards the quality of the sound was different. The sound was much higher pitched and there seemed to be no base as if base response or a base speaker was lost.  The app control for base does not seem to adjust the sound now for tv voices while that of treble does still work. Has anyone encountered something like this ?
