I have a very good self powered sub that I want to use. I currently use Arc + Sub via optical splitter. However, I’d like to know a way to have the Sonos using EARC while the Sub uses optical. Any suggestions?
*** Thoughts on the Sonos Arc so far. Meh. It’s not as good as what I heard from a Sonos one time in Best Buy.. (maybe playbar?)

I have two adapters. Optical splitter and optical to regular speaker wire. What I’m going to try is an HDMI splitter with a arc adapter to optical.
With an optical splitter, I’m using the Sonos Arc and self-powered sub. I’m thinking about some adapters that might do it.
Interesting. How is the crossover handled?
I suppose it depends on whether the TV stops the optical output when using eARC. Maybe check with the TV’s manufacturer.

I don’t think this setup is possible. Like all other Sonos sound bars, the Arc can only be used with the Sonos Sub.
