Sonos offers generous home trial terms. If music is your ultimate goal, buy a pair of Fives (and a Sub if you feel something’s lacking) and audition them in your own home. If you don’t like them, return for a refund.
Sonos don’t publish figures or specs for their products.
If you do YouTube search there’s video comparisons of 2x5s and sub vs a trad hifi setup
I personally have this setup and use it with a planar 1 turntable and a Qobuz and Amazon hires subscription you are limited to 24 bit 44hz hires streaming but I am very happy with my choice
When it comes to comparing Sonos speakers to traditional hi-fi systems, the audio quality is like a match between punching and boxing. Sonos speakers deliver convenience and versatility, like quick punches, with wireless setup and multi-room capabilities. However, traditional hi-fi systems pack a heavyweight punch in audio fidelity, potentially outmatching Sonos in delivering a premium listening experience.
