Is this possible to JUST take my PLAY:3 to another house and it will work?
Note: My PLAY:3 currently is connected to other sonos devices in my house.
So can i temporally have my PLAY:3 on a different network on ITS OWN?

Hi kaliSerene03, that is definitely possible, but you will need to connect the PLAY:3 to the other house's network with an ethernet cable.
Once you've done that, you can set it up to use the local wifi network if desired- you will need the wifi network name and password.
So:
1.) Get the speaker wired into the friend's router and power it up
2.) Connect your device that has the Sonos app to your friend's wifi network and open the Sonos app
3.) Provide the Play:3 with the wifi credentials by going through wireless setup in the Sonos Controller settings. (Settings-Advanced Settings-Wireless Setup)
That should be all you need, I hope this helps!
