Sorry to bring up what appears to be a routine question, but I cannot find an answer that applies to my situation.
I got a new router (Orange Livebox4) a few months ago and since then have failed to get my Sonos 3 and 5 speakers to work (using controller 1). I eventually got them working by moving the Sonos 3 from my study to the passage cupboard containing the Livebox and connecting with ethernet. I now want my speaker back in the study.
I went to Sonos>Settings>System>System settings.
First I selected Wireless setup and came to a halt because I was told my router password was incorrect (I double checked it by disconnecting and reconnecting other devices to my router).
Then I selected Networks, chose my router network (the only one available) and was told “In Use”.
I really don’t want to understand much more about networks. I simply want to get back to listening to my music!
