Bought Sonos move yesterday - extremely disappointed it does not support Bluetooh calling - please bring the feature

I wouldnt have bought it if I knew this feature - as I need a speaker for music as well as my home office

Assumption is the mother of all etc.

That the Move is not designed to work as a speaker phone is not a secret: https://en.community.sonos.com/wireless-speakers-228992/sonos-move-speaker-phone-6830139 Alsosee the second post, by Sonos, on https://en.community.sonos.com/announcements-228985/introducing-sonos-move-brilliant-sound-anywhere-6829500

This doesn’t mean they could not enable it and a few other bt protocols.

personally I’d like it if they could also be used as surround sound speakers with my playbase. Then on the occasion I sit down to watch a film I could add them temporarily. The rest of the time they’d be in the garage or garden.

There could be a technical reason for not adding this function. With the surround function there certainly is: for surround you need the speakers to be bonded to the Playbase on the Sonos surround configuration (5Ghz link). Since the Move is not part of any Sonos net but can only connect to wifi - its transportability would compromise Sonosnet - it can’t be bonded as surrounds.

My remark, maybe worded a bit undiplomatically, was coming from my constant surprise about people buying (expensive) stuff they have not been reading up about.
