Here is a reset that might help: You need some charge on the battery prior to attempting this reset. Charge the battery for an hour, remove the charger, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. If you slip off the button, restart the interval. If the unit starts, declare success and continue charging to 100%. You can play music while charging.
Note that this is not a Factory Reset.
