I have 2 rooms.

Room 1 (office) = Sonos Playbar

After Factory Reset of the Playbar -> I CAN see/use/navigate on my iphone app [Version 80.04.04]

Problem: I CANNOT see the Sonos Playbar on my Macbook App:

  • Version = 16.2
  • Sonos OS: S2
  • Build: 79153290
  • Sonos ID: ***********

Room 2 (family room) = Sonos Port

  • Associated Product: 192.168.1.121
  • ---------------------------------
  • Port: Family Room
  • Serial Number: *****************
  • Sonos OS: S2
  • Version: 16.2 (build 79154060)
  • Hardware Version: 1.29.1.10-1.2
  • Series ID: A103
  • IP Address: 192.168.1.121
  • WM: 0

After unplug/plug of the Port → I CAN see/use/navigate the Sonos Port on my Macbook App:

  • Version = 16.2
  • Sonos OS: S2
  • Build: 79153290
  • Sonos ID: 110061434

Problem: I CANNOT see the Sonos Port on my iphone app pVersion 80.04.04]

(I do not know how to perform a factory reset on the Port)

+ + +

Summary: 2 rooms on the same subnet, both hardwired to the same router. The Sonos Port can only be controlled via the Macbook and the Sonos Playbar can only be controlled via the iphone app.

I have submitted a diagnostic for each device:

Playbar = *****************

Port = **************

Moderator Note: Recorded and removed Serial Number, Diagnostics and Sonos ID. Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Can anybody recommend how I get this viewed by SONOS? I sent the diagnostics already.

I do not have the time to wait on hold in their support queue.

thank you

Have you tried rebooting your router and resetting the mobile app?

Hello @Pools-3015 - I deleted the MacOs App and deleted the iPhone App and rebooted the router.

This worked.

The 🤡 💩 show that Sonos subjects their customers to is ridiculous.

I am never updating my apps again and nor am I buying another piece of Sonos again.

Fool/burn me once, shame on you.

Fool/Burn me twice, shame on me.
