Why doesn't Sonos support the "Cast" button from Apps such as Youtube Music?

I remember it used to.

 

Is there a legal reason for this limitation?

 

And Will it in future?

I’m not too sure about Google, but Sonos very rarely (if ever) announce their development roadmap, so you are perhaps best to put this suggestion forward as a ‘feature request’ via both Sonos and Google Customer Services. Here are the links to do that…

Sonos has to my knowledge never supported Chromecast though.

They did years ago, and also volume controls from your home screen.

Wasn’t that Google Play Music though? YouTube Music replaced GPM, but they sued each other and their collaboration stopped.
