What were you thinking, this new app is NOT ready for prime time!

 

No playlists, no alarms, cannot delete music services, my favorites are all missing. Individual volume of rooms that are grouped can only be done in the groupe list!?!. These are issues on both Android and iOS.

 

All you have done is pissed off your customers and created a ton of headaches for your support team as well as your dealers!

 

For anyone who hasn't upgraded yet, DONT! The old version is far better. Once they FINISH the app it should finally be the “better experience” they promised, but right now it's minimally functional at best!

And if you did get an update on your Android phone, you can roll back to version 16.1 by following the steps on this post:    worked for me…..

At least you managed “minimally functional” - this new app is unable to recognise any of the (10 year old, S2 OS) speakers in my household so I didn’t even get that far.

I took the liberty of emailing the CEO with my frustrations.

Start bombarding the Sonos chat bot thing with complaints. There’s X to moan on as well don’t forget. They’ll hate negative posts on a public forum.

Don’t think the chat bot will care, Nor do I think the CEO is likely to get any of his emails!
