Sonos why after so many years of issues we are back to the same problems from the beginning of your existence.
Player shuts off randomly for no reason, volume doesn’t work on the app in all rooms or show up will just disappear.
can I just get up and turn on your system anymore and play music you have to go through a song and dance and a bunch of bulls*** in order to play music out of these players.

it’s just wrong. Your new engineers that have taken over since she went public are horrible.

and should be fired. You should roll back your app to where it worked for all humans and not frustrate them. This will be your demise.

There are other products outthere heos by Denon Music Cast by Yamaha

I’ve been working for Sonos for 20+ years as a dealer and it’s time for me to leave  and I’m gonna take all my clients with me one by one

every time they call me with these issues I’m gonna explain to them why they need to trash your system and do something different

it’s a shame it’s come to this, but you’re hiring the wrong people or you guys have lost your way

Sonos was released in 2015, I bought my first hardware in the UK August 2015 so you could not have been a 20+ year dealer.

Regardless was there anything someone on this community forum could help you with?

Wikipedia says SONOS was founded as Rincon Audio in August, 2002 and changed its name to SONOS in May, 2004. Seems consistent with a dealer history of 20+ years. I bought my first SONOS unit in September, 2007.

Same. I’m in the UK and my first 2 ZP100s, ZP80 and CR100 controller were all registered on my Sonos account in Jan 2007. Was a breath of fresh air after 2 years of playing home IT support for my SlimServer.

Point them at an smb share, wait for them to index, play some music and then curse the lack of consistency between systems with the limited tagging spec available at the time.

I think it was early 2005 when the first products hit the stores and could be bought. They had already been shown at shows the year before.

SONOS deliveries to the public began in January of 2005. If I remember correctly I had units from February 2005.
