Is there any plan to rollback the latest app update? The UI is horrible, I can no longer scroll through a song, the volume increase/decrease is horrible! I can no longer add songs to an existing playlist. Also, I can no longer control the app from the lockscreen or the pulldown menu. There are other issues that others have mentioned in the forum as well. Please rollback and fix the issues before releasing.

Congratulations Sonos! You now have the crummiest app EVER offered in the App Store!

You must be so proud. After all that we have spent with you, I wouldn’t even be able to give this * away. Everyone on your tech staff should be fired! But wait, that would make too much

Seems we all want the old Sonos app back and to get rid of this ridiculous update.  Does anyone actually believe that Sonos will give us that option?

this app is horrible!!!!!!!

Agreed this app fuels my hate fire!! I almost never post reviews because trolls suck but this app update is a disaster. The UI is the worst and was a big shock from a company like Sonos that I have so much respect for.

A few of my major dislikes that I cannot fathom why you did this:

  • you can’t see the volume number without clicking into another screen. I use this in multiple rooms and I know that I can go to volume 15 without waking anyone up in a bedroom. Why Sonos, why?
  • Swipe up/swipe down to get to different speaker and zones. Then click into more screens to adjust volume. This is more extra steps.
  • you cannot group control the volume once you click into the sunscreen for individual controls… this goes back to if I know 15 is the level I want and I’m controlling multiple speakers you have to set each of them vs doing all at once while being able to see the number. So annoying.
  • the master volume doesn’t zero out multiple speakers. My hack for controlling multiple grouped speakers is to master volume them all to zero so they align and then increase but they never all adjust at the same level.

I don’t think the SONOs team understand that people are upset because they truly care about this product.

If my old S2 app still work on the computer… there is no reason why the roll back option can not be offered. People will find alternatives one way or another.

I've worked in software architecture and software development for 35 years. In my experience, one or more managers would lose their job if they presided over a release as bad as the latest Sonos update. Sales will certainly suffer as a result. Add that they haven't issued fixes as a multiplier. Very aggravating and disappointing.
