I get it all the time in many threads where I can't get to the last page - the arrow at the bottom takes me to the first page. Mentioned it before but nothing happened. FF on Android.

I had the same issue with a thread a few days back - probably the same one - I would click the link in the mail and it would take me to the first page and when I used the page navigate buttons at the bottom and clicked the last page it would take me back to the start page - Windows 10 PC, Firefox, UK

Have just tried that thread here at work on IE11 and all is good.

perhaps there's an issue related to the UK specific header. I'll pass that along and see if they can look into things further.
Actually I am in the upgraded sophisticated zone of the UK, aka Australia. :D

Well OK then 🙂 I just guessed you were UK based on this "Sites-Sonos_UK-" in the header line.

Thanks for the extensions. Just wondering, if you go incognito mode on Chrome does the issue persist? Also, do you have this trouble on any other long threads that you can tell? I know it might be hard to determine but maybe if you swap the Newest first and Oldest first you can see if the right ones show up.
these are the only extensions which I have active.
I disabled then, but the issue persisted.
Do you mind if I pull our comments out of this thread and over to a new one?
That's fine.

Which browser are you using for the community on the PC? Have you tried using a different browser on the computer? I'm guessing you're using Chrome on that Android which is working. I'm trying to duplicate the issue on our end and have yet to be able to do so. All of the posts are showing up for me on that thread.
Ryan, it would have helped if you had said that you couldn't replicate the issue.

Your response suggested to me that you accepted that an issue existed, and that nothing further was required from me.
@Barry agreed, I'll pass the word on to take a closer look at that one.

Poor wording on my choice, they needed some more details and I failed to get them from you to begin with.

On the matter of Chrome, that's my browser of choice, and I still don't see that issue, but as your second message suggested, perhaps there's an issue related to the UK specific header. I'll pass that along and see if they can look into things further. It'd probably be best to take this to a different thread so the conversation doesn't get lost.

I turned on Google's Inspector. I don't know if it is related, but it shows the following javascript error:

I use Chrome running on Windows 7. It is the current version of Chrome: 54.0.2840.71 m

I tried Firefox. It has no problem with that thread. ... I am a regular visitor to the Sonos forums. Chrome has no issue with other threads.

Insider should run on Chrome: 54% market share, with the next closest having just 25% share.

That was 4 days ago. That thread is still broken when accessing this forum via a PC.

I get an email whenever anyone contributes to the thread, but the link in the email cannot find the new post.
If I open the thread on the PC I can find no way to view the recent posts.

4 days and Insider can do nothing?!
and now 10 days of reputation damage to Sonos, while it seems that Insider have no answer allowing you divert a flood of spam, from newly opened accounts, to Moderation prior to being published.

I hope that they are paying you to beta test this woeful excuse for a forum.

I can see that you have bigger fish to fry at the moment, but at some point you should alert Insider to the thread I mentioned above.
The problem is seen on their PC platform, but not their android platform.
It only seems to affect this one thread.
It may be a bug in their platform relating to post deletion from a multi-page thread, where the deletion reduces the thread page count.
The problem may be obscured once someone else contributes to the thread.
I can see the post if I toggle to "Newest First"

Maybe you deleted some spam from earlier in the thread, so that everything now fits on 8 pages? So we no longer jump to the last page of the thread?

But it seems strange that the last link from Bored's profile doesn't find the last post? ie. this
https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-software-228995/sonos-are-you-reading-this-please-put-the-controller-queue-function-back-how-it-was-6739476?postid=16040208

Why isn't that finding the last post?

Also you can't link to the post from here ... ie press "View" against the last post for the thread. That also now just takes you to the first post of the thread.
https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-software-228995

Maybe whatever Insider is doing to auto-de-spam is also wreaking forum navigability?
I don't see anything removed from that thread on our end of things. No deleted posts that I can see.
The last post from me and this person are missing (you can seethe link to his|her missing host here)

over aggressive housekeeping? The last page of at least this thread has been redacted

but we won't have full 24hour coverage. We're doing what we can while solutions are going into place.
