Sonos S2 app is insisting that I update to 80.x

Hi. the Sonos S2 app 16.x is now insisting that I update to 80.x. I don't want to as I rolled back to the earlier version to get back my alarms and sleep timer.

Is there any way to get past the update message as it's preventing me from managing my system?

The app seems to be working correctly with my Play 1s, but is refusing to manage my Roam SL without the s*** update.
